Position Summary: 
The Field IT Manager oversees a team that provides discreet, end-to-end, concierge technical support to senior executives and corporate employees. This position will also have direct reports within the Market Units that provide technical support to field employees. The Field IT Manager will develop their team’s skills to be self-sufficient handling day to day tasks.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Manages Field IT direct reports and ensures team achieves specific performance metrics via goals, creating/closing tickets, and customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Single point of escalation for all senior executives’ technology related issues.
  • Works closely with the IT Service Center to provide second line technical support for executive issues in line with service level objectives.
  • Maintains confidentiality and privacy in all dealings with executives.
  • Maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), policies, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), end-user training, and technical end-user knowledge base.
  • Partners with other computing groups (network, data center, etc.) and Business Unit support teams to provide comprehensive end-user solutions.
  • Works with IT Security for the ongoing management of end-user device security (patching, anti-virus, etc.).
  • Keeps abreast of technology trends and applications to support problem solving by understanding current best practices and possible alternative solutions.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related discipline such as Computer Information Systems.
  • 6+ years' experience with executive level support in a corporate setting.
  • 3+ years’ experience managing direct reports.
  • On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with onsite service level objectives.
  • Ability to travel out of state on short notice.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and able to handle sensitive and challenging support situations with a calm, methodical approach.
  • Experience managing financial budgets on a project and department level.
  • Ability to implement solutions with little or no guidance.
  • Experience with Apple configuration and support experience (iPads, iOS, iPhones, MacBook, etc.), as well as Android and their related OS environments.
  • Experience working with Active Directory, MS Office, Windows, Configuration Manager, Mac environments.
  • Good understanding of networks, audio/video and video conferencing.
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test. 
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Certifications in Apple, Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Technology Specialist, or equivalent technical certification.
  • Citrix experience.
  • Experience with end point management tools, such as SCCM, JAMF, AirWatch, Adaptiva, Cylance and Printer Logic.
  • ITIL 4 Foundations training.
  • Situational Leadership training.
