Join us on our journey of growth!Job DescriptionTeva is searching for a Project Engineer to join our team in Irvine, CA! This position is in the Engineering Department, which supports Operations. The Project Engineer provides technical support, leadership and accountability for the execution of capital projects. You will contribute to the successful implementation of system and facility improvement projects and drive enhancements around manufacturing KFA (key focus areas) goals including: people/safety, quality/regulatory/ compliance, customer, financials, and operational excellence, data integrity, recovery, filling, packaging and utility control system design, documentation, testing, validation, and commissioning. This role requires the ability to collaborate with all levels of management and coordinate projects with outside vendors and suppliers while performing and managing multiple tasks on a daily basis ensuring the most cost effective and productive methods are utilized to support and maintain facilities and equipment for a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. You will: + Write Capital Expenditure Requests (CER) for the engineering department, and assist other departments in writing CERs. Ensure that all capital projects include BOD, URS, EHS Review, Risk analysis, Commissioning plans, and Schedule as required per project. Interface with procurement for Purchase Orders (POs), Update, and write Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs). Write technical CER POs for the engineering verbiage. + Commission and qualify facility or equipment systems installed or modified for Capital or other projects. Perform periodic updates to qualifications of existing systems as needed. + Generate TrackWise change controls for on-boarding or modifying equipment or facilities. Support TrackWise events and CAPAs as needed. + Maintain and update the GMP and non-GMP drawings for the facility and maintain and update the equipment tracking list for each project. + Complete all training requirements and maintain 100% compliance with all assignments. + Maintain work areas and perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Record instructions. + Participate in all activities required to support production projects including campaign support, troubleshooting, rotational 24/7 on-call support, investigations, periodic reviews, root cause analysis, safety and Quality preventive and corrective actions.Qualifications+ Requires a B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree required. + Requires 5+ years of experience in engineering and construction. + Prefer 2+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience. + Project Management experience with Project delivery experience of $100K to $3MM budget including capital projects strongly preferred. + Demonstrated experience installing critical machinery and automation equipment in GxP environment. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. + Experience in Sterile pharma industry preferred.FunctionEngineeringSub FunctionEquipment Maintenance Technical SpecialtyAlready Working @TEVA?If you are a current Teva employee, please apply using the internal career site available on "Employee Central".
