As a Finance Sr. Manager at Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA), you will be the key Finance contact responsible for providing the overall financial leadership and expertise in giving recommendations that enable effective decision-making within the business. The Finance Sr. Manager will be a key finance contact for PBNA's West Division. The Finance Sr. Manager will provide overall leadership for the period end results, preparation of forecasts, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), along with financial analysis, reporting and pricing. This role will support the West Division Commercial Revenue Management team and is responsible for delivering financial and pricing realization objectives for our Retail Segments.

Location flexibility: this role can sit in Irvine, CA or Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing insightful analysis of business results to senior management
  • Manage reporting and analysis process including periodic reporting, periodic forecast analysis and review deck preparation
  • Drive Net Revenue forecasting, planning and tracking of internal and external pricing
  • Lead strategic plan and AOP development, including deck analysis and deck preparation
  • Partner with Commercial Revman on ROI analysis, post-audit and tools
  • Manage controls around short pay and override code usage
  • Monitor TPM events, PCRs and accruals, working closely with the sales team to ensure accuracy of entries
  • Support ad-hoc projects and analysis as requested
  • Own Brand Funding, Space Funding and Pricing Compliance reporting and analytics
  • Act as finance liaison to the Commercial Strategy team and Stage-Gate process
  • Lead a team of 3 finance professionals and manage successful integration of GBS team with Retail Finance objectives


  • Bachelor's Degree (Finance or Accounting preferred)
  • MBA or CPA is strongly desirable

Work Experience:

  • 7+ years of progressive financial leadership responsibility, ideally with supervisory experience, in some of the following areas: Annual planning, Strategy development, Financial Planning and Analysis, business performance evaluation and Financial Revenue Management and Control.

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Experience with Annual Planning and Strategy Development
  • Forecasting, trade promotion evaluation and rate/mix analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and gain the cooperation of individuals across the organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management
  • Experience working in a matrixed global business environment
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Results-oriented with the ability to initiate and lead projects to completion
  • Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modelling), Essbase and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications
