Together, our Engine Systems division is helping to create the engines of the future. Job DesignationThe Electrical Engineer provides a solid expertise to a variety of complex electrical projects. Applies expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering in various aspects of the development of components and control systems. Responsible for the electrical engineering aspects of development and ensures designs meet the product requirements.Job CoreResponsibilitiesProvides significant Electrical Engineering expertise to complex assignments throughout the project life cycle (concept, development, test, production, in-service support)Analyzes customer/system requirements, derives hardware requirements and translates them into electrical design, while performing design verification testingActs as a technical expert to ensure designs meet product requirements and comply with regulationsDesigns and improves circuits to meet functional block diagrams, while using best practicesPerforms value analysis during the product design phase, while optimizing product development costsActs as a resource for colleagues and able to explain difficult or sensitive information to build consensusFollows and participates in process and development methods (DO-178/254, generate artifacts to support process flow)Works across functional boundaries (support systems, mechanical, and production engineering)Other responsibilities as assignedConsistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significanceRegular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.
