Braun Medical, visit .Position Summary:The Maintenance Lead is responsible for providing continuous leadership and support to the shift for all aspects of the maintenance department and shift personnel. The Maintenance Lead oversees the maintenance, and repair of all production equipment during their shift such as injection molding machines, blow molding machinery, cast film equipment, compounding equipment, automation equipment and a variety of support equipment. Ensures the execution of established preventative maintenanceschedules for equipment on their shift and ensures preventative maintenanceis performed in a timely manner. Ensures that all work orders are completed and accurate and filed in a timely manner. Assists in hazardous chemical and waste management and assists during various facility inspections. This person may also be called upon to repair critical equipment during off shift hours.Responsibilities: Essential DutiesLeads all aspects of the shift including scheduling of work orders and personnel.Implements and maintains a preventive maintenance program.Maintains critical parts system.Identify, source and work with outside vendors as required.Maintains and repairs automated production machinery and support equipmentReplace or repair parts, test operation and make adjustments to production equipment.Maintain maintenance records and logsUse a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties. Preform regular and preventative maintenance on production and support equipment as needed.Participate in the Continuous Improvement Team.Promote cleanliness and safety policies and procedures throughout the entire company.The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.General:It shall be the duty of every employee while at work to take reasonable care for safety and health of himself/herself and other persons.Expertise: Knowledge & Skills Required to apply comprehensive working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning & checking the work of other peers.May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred. Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/EtcRequired:High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.05-08 years related experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at appropriate level.Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.Regular and predictable on-site attendanceAbility to work non-standard schedule as neededWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
