Teva is searching for an experienced EM technician to join our
team in Irvine!
As an experienced EM Technician, you will perform environmental
monitoring sampling of relevant areas and in-process product fill
testing including fill volume and headspace testing required per
applicable SOP /cGMPs. You will execute and resolve problems while
working on complex assignments requiring taking the initiative and
independent action and thought. You will prioritize multiple
priorities, adhere to strict timelines and communicate effectively
within your own department and others.
Hours: 2nd shift - Sun- Thurs (2pm - 10:30pm)
As an EM Technician with Teva you will:
- Support information gathering for investigations into OOS
conditions/ Support departmental subject matter expert on
environmental sampling, in process testing and Aseptic
- Perform surface and air environmental monitoring / sampling of
classified areas per SOP and ensure manufacturing is supported 24
hours a day/ 7 days a week.
- Submit sampling (plates) testing materials to the microbiology
department for batching and incubation.
- Perform in process testing to support production filling
including line speed, fill volume, and headspace testing.
- Issue Special Attention Notices and perform special finished
product sampling. Perform batch record review of relevant sections
- Perform monitoring of the classified areas and support
facilities during and after production or during
- Aid management in investigations.
- Train technicians in environmental monitoring in process
testing as required.
- Follow Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and
- High School diploma required, AA degree/ course work in college
Microbiology/related sciences preferred.
- Minimum of two years' experience in the aseptic processing or
related industry required. Bachelors of Microbiology or related
science and labs may be accepted in lieu of experience.
- ISO 5 Gowning and media fill certifications strongly
- 1+ year of experience in aseptic manufacturing techniques
- Ability to stand for long periods of time required.
