Spectrum Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly motivated Director
of Program Management, to lead cross-functional teams accountable
for the development strategy and seamless execution of innovative
oncology drug candidates, with focus on regulatory
* Leading cross-functional teams to develop, drive, adapt
integrated product plans for various innovative oncology programs.
* Owning and driving cross-functional team performance to deliver
agreed corporate goals for the assigned project(s). * Working
closely to influence, advise and coordinate operational efforts
across all key functional areas to ensure alignment to plans and
seamless execution. * Driving issue identification and resolution,
risk management and contingency planning. * Creating a positive
team environment that instills trust, encourages disconfirming
information and ensures clear and transparent communications to
align around the objectives and goals for the project. * Advancing
functional and organizational excellence through creative thinking
and consistent willingness to stretch beyond normal operations.
* Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in
biopharmaceutical industry drug development. * Demonstrated
experience leading cross-functional teams in global product
development, including regulatory filings (INDs, BLAs/NDAs,
sBLAs/sNDAs). * Experience in oncology drug development is
required. * Experience with both small molecules and biologics
preferred. * Proven ability to lead and influence drug development
planning and execution. * A proactive and strategic thinker, with
strong decision-making skills. * Strong leadership and
communication skills (including presentation skills) with success
in influencing all levels cross-functionally. * Proven ability to
function effectively across a matrix organization with multiple
stakeholders and constituents, with the ability and strength to
focus a team to work towards its goals. * Highly collaborative with
outstanding relationship building skills. * Well-versed in the use
of project management tools, including MS Project.
* Advanced degree in pharmaceutical science, medicine, or
another scientific discipline related to drug development is
required. * Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project
management certifications are desirable.
* Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as

Position may require up to 15% travel.
