Job DescriptionSr. UX ResearcherContract role in Irvine, CAWe
are looking for a Senior User Experience (UX) Researcher with a
passion for delivering intuitive and transformative experiences for
consumers and our clients to join our talented UX Community. If you
are a creative thinker, love to collaborate and have the ability to
tell a convincing story from the results to meet user needs and
business goals, this is for you!Position ResponsibilitiesProvide
insights to help inform and execute on product strategy and tactics
by conducting both formative (e.g., ethnographic research,
contextual interviews) and evaluative (e.g., lab/remote sessions,
surveys) researchResponsible for working cross functionally with
teams to shape and execute learning plans based on business needs
and growth initiatives for both existing and new productsUncover
actionable insights and evangelize findings at various levels of
the organization to help the business growThought leader that
mentors research team and pro-actively provides consumer centric
trends and information regarding consumer behavior, needs, and
innovative experiencesWork closely with Analytics team and
collaborate with Market Research to drive superior decision
makingLead and facilitate brainstorming sessions, needs analysis,
features, and functionality workshopsEssential Skills, Knowledge
And CompetenciesStrong research foundation and flexible
approachProven ability to be a contributing member of a
cross-functional team and inspire team confidence in and respect
for the contributions of research to enhance user experienceA
demonstrated ability to effectively partner with and communicate to
stakeholders, designers, product managers and engineering
development team membersPortfolio that includes examples of leading
strategic research with significant business outcomes as well as
and putting together long term research plansStrong understanding
of online advertising and revenue models and experience with mobile
researchSix+ year' s related work experience. UX research
experience must include an established, heavily trafficked,
consumer facing web site or equivalent combination of education and
experienceBachelor' s degree in Human Factors Psychology, Cognitive
Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Experimental Design,
Master' s degree preferred
