As a key leader within our IT department, our VP of Digital
Technology will bring our enterprise through a global digital
transformation as we seek to achieve excellence in our ability to
service our global consumers via direct sales channels and devices
(eCommerce, mobile apps, IoT, POS). You own the vision for and
implementation of our digital commerce infrastructure and is to
partner with our brand teams to ensure a frictionless omnichannel
experience for our consumers. Reporting directly to our CIO, this
role presents an excellent opportunity to build and operate a
best-in-class digital technology services organization.
Develop cutting edge digital roadmaps and teams to execute a
best-in-class frictionless omni-channel experience across all
digital commerce touch points; ecommerce websites, mobile
applications, IoT devices, point-of-sale retail, etc.
Curate and manage the pipeline of innovative ideas, owning the
operational rhythm to expose concepts to the senior leadership
Align technology strategy with the brands’ digital commercial
objectives to enable necessary capabilities.
Define strategy, establish outcome-driven frameworks, align
priorities, and manage operating mechanisms to drive a highly
effective, efficient, process design and development team.
Ensure a frictionless omnichannel shopping experience through
our digital platforms - from order placement to shipment.
Develop best in class solutions to deliver best-in-class results
measured by KPIs for order fulfillment, consumer service
capabilities, and the enablement of cutting-edge digital consumer
experiences to support a variety of business needs.
Partner with cross-functional teams across finance, supply
chain, IT, and marketing, to drive system development projects to
completion, on budget, and on time.
Establish a dynamic software engineering function across
multiple teams and businesses and align business priorities with
the appropriate, cost-effective deployment of capital, IT systems,
and team resources. Responsibilities also include sourcing,
staffing, and managing in-house and outsourced development
Vision, build, and own the system architecture for
Direct-to-Consumer/Ecommerce technology, on which all Helen of Troy
brands build and execute their DTC/Ecommerce business.
Establish a best-in-class consumer support/consumer service
platform that enables our teams to support our customers via all
digital touch points (SMS, Social Media, Phone/email, on-site
Vision and implement a robust and effective omnichannel data
management and analysis function that enables an accurate
360-degree view of our consumers resulting in robust reporting,
visualization, and audience-building segmentation capabilities.
Implement and support business-to-business platforms to enable
our sales organizations to service a diverse channel matrix.
Build and develop talent that has the business acumen and
technical capability to deliver world-class products,
differentiated customer experiences, strategic partnerships, and
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
15+ years of experience in a focused technology role.
10+ years of experience with omnichannel digital
10+ years of experience in a leadership role.
Retail or consumer goods industry experience is highly
