The Director of Product Delivery will lead and
own P riceSpider’s Product Delivery Life Cycle
from i deation to c oncept v alidation,
Minimum Viable Product (MVP) identification, p ro duct visioning &
ro admapping, p roject a pprova l &
prioritization, budgeting & resource
allocation, execution & delivery , and
post-launch support for our high-priority company
initiatives. He/she will be a Subject Matter
Expert (SME) and an effective advocate for promoting the
use of and adherence to PriceSpider’s
Product Delivery Methodology/Framework standards,
policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
He/she will report to the Chief Technology Officer
(CTO), and will deliver & exceed
expectations on the following areas:
Product Visioning , Hypothes e s Validation and
Establish a v alue -and-data -driven Project I ntake
and A pproval process to ensure that the company is
investing on the right project initiatives that will
generate the most value for our customers and stakeholders
Lead the team in v alidat ing product h ypothes e s by
focus ing on testing high reward /high risk
hypothes e s , supporting Teams to fail fast and fail
forward, and pursu ing high ROI project initiatives.
Lead Product Visioning and Roadmapping that spans
multi-year Product Value-Drop and Delivery Plan, and ensure that
they are communicated across the organization and bought in to
by our stakeholders.
Promote transparent & o smotic c ommunication –
leverage technology and information radiators to help
democratize access to Product Delivery information
Product Execution and Delivery
Establish PriceSpider’s Agile Delivery
Framework that leverages Lean-Agile concepts, values,
principles and best practices to maximize effectiveness and
Ensure that T eams continually support our
PriceSpider’s Agile Product Delivery Framework ,
proactively contribute to its ongoing refinement, and infuse
customer feedback onto the Delivery Framework
in pursuit of relentless improvement .
Ensure that projects are executed and delivered on time, within
budget , with the highest quality and fitness to its intended
Establish strong relationship with Product Owners to execute on
Product Vision & Strategy, and with Technical Lead to pursue
technical excellence and tackle technical debt.
Lead Backlog Refinemen t, promote transparency
and provide visibility to enable the team
to “look-ahead” of what’s upcoming in future Product
Facilitate Iteration Planning, ensure that
Stories with the highest value are prioritized
according to business rewards and risk mitigation
strategies , and that they are sufficiently
defined with clear Acceptance Criteria and
Definition of Done .
Build consensus on Iteration Backlog that Team can commit
to delivering, f acilitate discussion on Epic and Story and
Tasks decomposition , and agree on a n Execution
Facilitate Daily Standups, ensure that Team shares
their progress and collaborates to remove
blockers and resolve other Post- Standups action
items in a timely manner.
Remove impediments, or help the team remove any blockers,
escalate organizational blockers, and drive
Shield the team from external interference. Partner
with Product Owners , Business Owners and Senior
Leadership to minimize unplanned tasks and facilitate
prioritization discussion, as appropriate.
Facilitate an effective Sprint Review that empower s
and reward s the team to demonstrate completed user
stories and working product increments, solicit feedback from
stakeholders , and incorporate learnings to the
product’s next iteration.
Lead a collaborative and constructive Sprint
Retrospective, create an open environment where Team will
feel safe to share their thoughts and affirm that the
team’s voice is heard and valued .
Enterprise Agility Excellence
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on our
Product Delivery Framework, and be advocate in promoting
pragmatic approaches to achieve Enterprise Agility
Train and coach Senior Leadership, Business Owner Partners and
the Team s on Lean- Agile principles,?values, best practices
on Scrum, Kanban, Scrum-ban, FDD, TDD, Pair
Programming, XP, etc.
Facilitate Scrum of Scrums to promote clear communication,
transparency and accountability on the T eam’s progress ,
areas of integration and overlap, and remov al organizational
Establish a nimble and sustainable Product D
elivery cadence to maximize team’s value stream
delivery while responding to changing business needs .
Talent Management and Servant Leadership
Manage and lead a high-performing and
empowered team of Project Managers and Product Owners .
Hire the right talent, develop and coach to enable them to be the
best version of thems e lves in the workplace.
Establish and develop Teams who are loosely coupled
but tightly aligned . Ensure that Teams are happy with
their work, appreciated and rewarded for their contribution,
and motivated to achiev e shared company
Be a Servant Leader – share your vision to the Team,
enable them to perform their best job , and provide all
the resources they need to successfully execute and deliver
Empower teams to make localized decisions while
encouraging them to be accountable and be
cognizant on how these decisions impact others .
Partner with Senior Leadership to foster
Psychological S afety in the workplace where teams are
encouraged to commit reasonable mistakes as they validate Product
hypotheses, Fail Fast and Fail Forward , amplify and share
learnings across the organization.
Promote Innovation by allowing Teams to address Technical
Debt, solve recurring customer issues, find better and faster ways
of doing things, etc.
Product Delivery Success KPIs and Metrics
Develop and track success m etrics and Key
Performance Indicator (KPI) at the Enterprise, Program and Team
Level that are clear and actionable , including but not
limited to Business Value Delivery Attainment , Iteration
Goal Attainment, Velocity Predictability, Quality M etrics,
Lead Time, Cycle Time, Takt Time, WIP Limit, Throughput etc.
Partner with the team to amplify and sustain acceptable
metrics values, exercise sound judgement as to
when to take appropriate action on negative trends ,
and escalate to Senior Leadership as needed.
Provide a data-driven Product Delivery Dashboard that will be
shared across the organization to help facilitate informed
Proven track record of successful ly delivering products that
are valuable to customers in a complex, highly-matrixed Agile
7- 10 years progressive experience as a Project Manager
leading high-performing teams developing mission-critical and
consumer-facing systems using a variety of methodologies –
Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid.
5+ years experience as a Scrum Master or as a
Project Manager for Lean-Agile?delivery team.
3 years experience managing high performing team
which may include Scrum Masters, Products Owners, Developers/QA,
Working knowledge and/or administration experience
of Jira, Confluence, Trello, and other Agile
and Continuous Integration tools desired.
Education and Cert ification s:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, Information Systems, Business or equivalent is
Industry Agile Certification , or have the willingness to
pursue certification s is highly desired, including but
no limited to, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required,
PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Scaled Agile Framework
( SAFe ) Agilist, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified
Scrum Professional (CSP) , etc.
