Job Description:
Lead the Engine Behind One of the Top 5 Amazon Sellers in the US
Role: VP, Supply Chain & Operations Location: San Diego, CA 92101
(Onsite at Symphony Towers) | ~25% travel to DFW warehouse
Compensation: $250,000–$350,000 Luminize isn't your typical
eCommerce company. We're one of the top 5 Amazon sellers in the US
— and we're building the operational backbone to scale what comes
next. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-visibility
executive seat and own the supply chain from end to end. We're
looking for a VP, Supply Chain & Operations who has built and
scaled before — someone who thinks in systems, leads with
conviction, and knows what world-class inventory execution looks
like inside Amazon and FBA ecosystems. You'll report directly to
C-Suite, set the strategic direction, and have full ownership of
the teams, budgets, and outcomes that fuel our growth. If you're a
supply chain executive looking for real ownership, a seat at the
table, and the chance to shape operations at scale — let's talk.
What You'll Own The complete supply chain lifecycle — from
procurement and inbound logistics through warehousing, inventory
deployment, and fulfillment Long-term supply chain and operations
strategy tied directly to company growth, margin, and cash-flow
objectives Core inventory KPIs: Days of Inventory, In-Stock Rate,
Overstock Rate, Inventory Turns, and Warehouse Productivity
Warehouse Operations in DFW — labor planning, throughput, safety,
inventory accuracy, and cost control Procurement strategy, supplier
negotiations, and contract management across the vendor base Supply
chain and warehouse budgets with full accountability to
profitability and working capital targets Cross-functional
alignment with Brand Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and
Commercial leadership Senior external relationships including
Amazon/FBA and third-party logistics partners Building, mentoring,
and scaling high-performing teams across Supply Chain, Procurement,
and Warehouse Operations — including developing your leadership
bench ? What You Bring 10 years of progressive experience in supply
chain, procurement, and warehouse operations — with a track record
of executive-level leadership and measurable results Bachelor's
degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related
field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred Deep experience
managing warehouse operations and distributed inventory
environments at scale Proven P&L or working capital ownership
with demonstrated impact on margin and efficiency Strong command of
inventory management within FBA or similar high-velocity
fulfillment ecosystems Executive presence — the ability to
influence at the C-suite level, negotiate with strategic partners,
and lead through complexity A builder's mindset — you've scaled
teams, stood up processes, and created operational infrastructure
that lasts Willingness to travel regularly to DFW (~25%) You'll be
based in Symphony Towers, one of San Diego's premier office spaces
that offers: Stunning views of the city and coastline Free access
to the building gym Discounts at restaurants and cafes in the tower
Secure bike racks in the building and 24/7 paid parking in a nearby
downtown structure Close walking distance to 100 of the top bars,
restaurants, and coffee shops Our office is designed for comfort,
productivity, and collaboration, featuring: Ergonomic standing
desks and high-quality workstations A fully stocked snack bar,
espresso machine, and cold drinks A welcoming team lounge area and
sunny workspaces A clean, modern space where we can do our best
work together Benefits & Perks Our people are our 1 priority. Our
benefits include: Multiple medical plan options through Anthem Blue
Cross Dental & vision insurance (including orthodontia and annual
exams) Pet benefit program with savings on vet care, products, and
services Paid vacation (accruing up to 120 hours/year with rollover
and cap) Paid holidays annually Coverage for spouses/domestic
partners and dependents under 26 Benefits begin on the first of the

lights on" operations role. You'll be building the infrastructure
for a company in growth mode — with the executive authority and
resources to do it right. At Luminize, we offer clear career paths,
promote from within, and invest in the people who drive results.
You'll have direct access to the CEO, cross-functional influence
across the business, and the backing to make bold moves. You'll
also benefit from: A leadership culture rooted in accountability,
transparency, and continuous improvement Cross-functional exposure
across brand management, software, advertising, catalog, and
commercial strategy A team that moves fast, celebrates wins, and
treats every brand like it's our own About Luminize Luminize is a
