Responsibilities:We are currently searching for a Senior Consultant to join our Global Forensic and Litigation Services practice as a critical part of our talented, highly experienced team and work at the forefront of high-profile engagements. Our team of valuation specialists deliver high quality analysis and advice across the business lifecycle, from acquisition to exit. As a Senior Consultant, you will further develop your expertise mastering complex valuation and other financial consulting skills.

You will have the opportunity to develop your career through a broad array of engagements, mentoring and formal learning. You will have the support necessary to further develop technical and leadership skills and be a key contributor to shaping the practice's future.
As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key contributor to engagement teams in executing complex projects that serve our clients' critical valuation and financial consulting needs across the following contexts:

  • Transaction Support - You will work on projects assisting clients in key strategic decisions relating to mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other transactions.
  • Financial Reporting - You will work on projects assisting clients to in the development of analyses required for the preparation of their financial statements, across a wide array of contexts (purchase price allocations, intangible asset impairment analyses, issuance of stock-based compensation, etc.).
  • Tax Reporting- You will undertake valuations for tax reporting purposes for gift and estate tax, deferred compensation issuance, transfer of assets, etc.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - You will prepare financial projection models to help clients with key decisions relating to their operations, investment decisions, securities issuance, etc.Responsibilities:
    • Perform in-depth client, industry, competitor, and market research
    • Develop, populate, and review complex valuation and financial projection models requiring a high degree of attention to detail
    • Perform complex enterprise valuation analyses of companies across a broad spectrum of size, industry, and business lifecycle phase
    • Perform value allocation analyses for companies with complex capital structures
    • Perform complex intangible asset and contingent liability analyses applying Option Pricing Method, Monte Carlo Simulation, and other advanced methodologies
    • Perform financial statement analysis and industry/market analysis
    • Contribute to engagement teams delivering on valuations, and assist in all phases of planning and administration for those services
    • Communicate with business owners, financial management, investors, lenders, and other parties to ensure delivery of exceptional client service.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues in the firm, other service lines, and engagement/project teams
    • Pursue new business development opportunities with existing and new clients
    • Actively participate in management calls with senior level management
    • Prepare narrative reports for client use
    • Provide high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations for quality and timelinessQualifications:Successful candidates will have:
      • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or other related field (MBA or MSc Finance preferred)
      • Minimum of one to three (1 -3) years in business valuation services
      • CFA or ASA preferred
      • Strong communication, project management, and team building skills
      • Excellent presentation skills
      • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills against clear business recommendations
      • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
      • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
      • Strong technical writing skills (clear, concise, and excellent grammar)
      • Willingness to travel as needed for client work (limited travel required)#LI-KH1#LI -hybrid
