Skills Litigation - General/Commercial Family Law Irvine office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks business trial associate attorney with experience. The ideal candidate will manage litigation cases (business, civil, corporate, real estate, personal injury, family law) and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contacts, setting claims and advocating for clients in court. Will provide legal support to clients and assist partners, maintain client relationships. Must have License to practice law in California. Should have experience representing clients in all stages of pre-trial litigation. Experience preparing pleadings/motions and making court appearances needed. Experience drafting and responding to discovery, including depositions essential. Experience with trial preparation is a plus. Family Law experience is a plus. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must have legal research experience through Westlaw/Lexis. The candidate should have a juris doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school. Must be team-player, motivated, organized and hardworking. Should have excellent research, analytical, verbal and writing skills. Exceptional legal writing skills needed. Should have a solid work ethic. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed. Excellent business judgment, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills are essential. Must have ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Should have a positive and energetic attitude. Must have ability to work independently, with or without secretarial assistance.
