Job Description:

CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer to design and develop using Object Oriented Design principles and software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability. Develop database stored procedures and scripts that meet database standards to implement product requirements. Participate and drive continuous improvement within development teams. Facilitate discussions among other developers to exchange new ideas and improvements. Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar's technology platform and development practices.



Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with software design, development, testing, and implementation experience. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience applying SOLID and Object Oriented Design principles to achieve performant, testable, and maintainable code using C# (.Net Framework); 5 years of experience interpreting product requirements and translating them into working APIs; 5 years of experience creating web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript; 5 years of experience creating single page applications using Angular and TypeScript; and 5 years of experience in database, writing stored procedures, SQL query using SQL Server, and PL/SQL.
