Position Overview:

• 
  
• Will work closely with many teams in the IT Department, including System Administration and Software Development to support and implement hardware and software systems

  Responsibilities:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Implement and manage all Oracle and MS SQL databases including patches, upgrades, security and data migrations.
    
  • Plan, install, and implement database technologies and participate in new application development, reviewing all SQL and PL/SQL code before production, recommending changes to meet the objective.
    
  • Monitor performance of database systems, tune systems for optimum operations, ensure adequate performance for all supported applications and respond to database monitoring alerts.
    
  • Provide support and guidance to our application developers for SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, data flow and general application support
    
  • Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive data

    Required Qualifications:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is required
      
    • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Database Administration role using Oracle database
      
    • Administrating Oracle 19c and up database versions
      
    • Administrating SQL Server and all related Software Services
      
    • Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL Management Studio, SQL Monitor
      
    • Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, TDE, PDB's
      
    • Proficient in PL/SQL
      
    • APEX development and administration using ORDS
      
    • Data Warehouse development and modeling
      
    • Experience with using PowerShell, Bash or other scripting languages
      
    • Experience in Linux server administration

      Skills:
      
      
      • 
        
      • Moderate understanding in database performance troubleshooting/tuning, skillful in SQL execution plan and tuning, AWR, ADDM, ASH Reports.
        
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
        
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
        
      • Highly motivated and enjoys working through and solving complex problems
        
      • Extremely detail oriented and passionate about work quality
