Dell EMC PowerProtect Data Manager provides software defined data protection, automated discovery, deduplication, operational agility, self-service and IT governance for physical, virtual and cloud environments. With operational simplicity, agility and flexibility at its core, PowerProtect Data Manager enables the protection, management, and recovery of data in on-premises, virtualized and cloud deployments, including protection of in-cloud workloads. You can also protect cloud-native workloads across multiple public clouds via our integrated SaaS based PowerProtect Cloud Snapshot Manager. It's really up to you and what works best for your life circumstances.What you'll achieve As a Software Quality & Automation Engineer 2, you will work on the next generation data protection product. The PowerProtect Data Management (PPDM) product is a scalable, software/appliance-based solution for centralized management of enterprise level customer data. In the job you will: Review software requirements and architecture specifications providing feedback to improve product qualityCreate test plans and test cases to be automatedImplement test automation and track quality metricsWork closely with other development teams, QA, and customer supportHave a good time and learn a lot!What are we looking for? First and foremost, we are looking for talented and motivated software engineers. Essential requirements:2+ years of experience with testing Java applications, Junit5, Spring frameworkStrong data analytical and code debugging skillsexperience with testing REST API and using Postman to send/receive REST API.strong automation skills with test framework, data driven test automation.Desirable requirement:Experience in Jenkins jobs and pipelinesGroovy (for debugging/fixing/modifying pipeline scripts)familiar with ElasticSearch and JiraBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fieldsHere's our story; please tell us yours Dell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
