Job Description:

Duties:--- Analyze system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and subsystems.--- Lead assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.--- Partner with a cross-functional team to imagine, design, develop, and test.--- Actively participate in architecture, design discussions, and guiding architectural design decisions.--- Participate in the development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and delivery of large-scale software applications, systems, and services.--- Mentor and lead developers by cultivating curiosity and deep technical understanding. --- Build relationships with Development Managers, Engineers, and Project Managers across various teams.--- Participate in Agile project management methodologies to provide technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).--- Constantly strive to raise the bar on engineering excellence.--- Stay up to date with tools, trends, technologies, and frameworks and develop a proof of concepts.--- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills:--- Great Java development skills in building large-scale web applications and APIs using object-oriented principles.--- Experience in developing world-class Microservices using Spring Boot. --- Experience with Spring Framework, ORM (Hibernate preferred), IBM MQ.--- Jasper knowledge to create simple to complex reports containing 4 to 6 exhibits, preferably using the latest Jasper version.--- Experience with SQL and PL/SQL Oracle.--- Experience in identifying and resolving performance issues using tools like DynaTrace or similar--- Experience with tools like Splunk--- Good knowledge of DevOps & collaboration tools: Jenkins, GIT, TFS, Sonar, etc.--- Experience with deconstructing complex problems into modular simple solutions.--- Strong understanding and discipline around software test approach.--- Strong sense of dedication and teamwork toward a goal.Nice to have:--- Exposure to leading JavaScript frameworks including Angular, React, or similar.--- Experience in Financial Services Industry.--- Experience with Cloud Technologies like AWS Redshift, RDS, etc.--- Experience with containers and developing containerized applications using Kubernetes.--- Experience in the following areas: project management, enterprise implementation, leadership experience, strategic planning, business acumen, application development, and change management
Education:Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related degree and a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant development or engineering experience or combination of education, training, and experience.
