Position Summary

SUMMARY

Parker Aerospace is seeking a full-time HR Rep that will be responsible for generalist functions in the human resources department of the Fluid Systems Division in Irvine, CA. We have approximately 500 team members and $400M+ in annual sales. This key position is on-site and will provide human resources expertise, and services and participate in the continuous improvement of HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, leaves of absence, PeopleSoft data accuracy, engagement activities, training and development, and other employment matters. High level of organizational skills, engagement and communication are necessary to build relationships across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain PeopleSoft data entry ensuring accurate and timely processing of team member transactions.
  • May interview and screen applicants and coordinate recruitment with other HR team members. Participate in hiring and selection process.
  • Facilitate onboarding from offer acceptance stage to orientation of new or transferred team members.
  • Communicates the employee benefit programs, resolving employee questions and problems, researching, or reconciling information. May lead or participate in health, wellness, or safety committees.
  • Creates efficient HR administrative processes by applying continuous improvement measures and methods. Supports and participates in site continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate and assist with a variety of company social functions.
  • Recommend and interpret company policies. Ensure company practices comply with federal and state employment laws and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's degree (BA) in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
    • 0-2+ years of relevant work history, prior industry experience, or worked with direction in student internship programs.
    • Ability to use standard business applications software and HRIS systems.
    • Ability to respond to inquiries, problems, or complaints from team members, team leaders, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community in a timely manner.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of team leaders or team members.
    • Ability to always maintain confidentiality and keep secure confidential data and records.Closing Statement

      Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $59,881 - $90,318.
