We're seeking an experienced and passionate Technical Trainer who can join us! Using his or her technical training experience and skill sets to continue to drive innovative training practices. We are seeking a passionate, charismatic, enthusiastic, and excellent communicator to develop and execute Alleviate's training framework.To excel in this role, have the ability to learn and grasp the UI/UX of the company's critical applications and cybersecurity best practices fairly easily (e.g., including but not limited to CRM, phone systems, Office, and security policies). Foster relationships with staff across departments and be motivated to continuously achieve positive training results. From day one, you'll have an immediate impact on our IT Systems operations' day-to-day efficiency and an ongoing effect on our overall growth.OBJECTIVES:

  • Design, develop, implement, and evaluate technical training programs
  • Shorten the learning curve between the departments and technology
  • Every employee knows the technology tools they need to be successful in their role
  • Continually improve on the technical training programESSENTIAL DUTIES:
    • Learn it, Love it, and Do it - Core Values and Mission
    • Gain intimate knowledge of critical business applications IT policies, and IT procedures
    • Conduct a detailed training on critical business applications, policies, and procedures
    • Devise technical training programs according to organizational requirements
    • Produce training schedules and classroom agenda
    • Determine course content according to objectives
    • Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets, etc.)
    • Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops, etc. in groups or individually
    • Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed
    • Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues, etc.
    • Observe and evaluate results of training programs
    • Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements
      • Recording the attendance at and engagement in classes
      • Recording attendance at and engagement in classes
      • Identify the role of computers in employees' day-to-day work
      • Formulate and distribute skills alignment tests to establish a baseline for each employee
      • Detecting common skills shortages and creating a training plan to address these
      • Keep abreast of industry best practices and policies
      • Provide recommendations to the CTO to improve the effectiveness and delivery of training
        • Physical ability to swap rack-mounted servers and UPS systems
        • Collaborate with other team membersOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES/NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

          • Other duties as assignedJOB SPECIFICATIONS: -(Knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience normally required for competent performance)Knowledge and Experience
            • Bachelor's degree in Business or similar field
            • 3+ years experience as a technical trainer, corporate trainer, or similar is required
            • 3+ years experience in the use of Learning Management System (LMS)
            • 3+ years experience in developing and executing on a training framework/process
            • Hands-on experience in CRM applications training
            • Hands-on experience in clod-based phone systems trainingLicensures and Certificates
              • Certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) is a strong assetSkills and Abilities
                • Proven experience as technical trainer
                • Proven experience in cybersecurity training
                • Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects
                • Experience in designing technical course content
                • Hands on experience in implementing an LMS platform
                • Ability to address training needs with complete courses
                • Working knowledge in MS Office (especially Powerpoint)
                • Experience in CRM applications (Salesforce, ZOHO CRM, SugarCRM, or similar)
                • Experience in cloud based phone systems (RingCentral, Nextiva, Vonage, DialPad, Five9, or similar)
                • Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds
                • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
                • Degree in a relevant technical field
                • Results-driven and able to handle multiple projects
                • Strong interpersonal and time-management skills
                • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
                • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
                • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
                • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
                • Strong customer service orientation
                • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
                • Passion for IT and learning new skillsPreferred Qualifications
                  • A Master's Degree may be preferred.
