world for sports, news, live events, film and television
production, and online streaming.Our client has manufacturing and
R&D centers in the US, UK, Europe, and Israel. Our client's
products are available via numerous global partners, showrooms in
Los Angeles, as well as web stores.
The Role:
Our client is currently seeking a highly energetic, creative,
collaborative Head of HR USA with a strong track record in driving
meaningful initiatives, a passion for people and culture practices,
and an understanding of teamwork for the Irvine office, as well as
supporting the Chicago, Illinois, Cary, North Carolina, and Dallas,
Texas offices.In this role, the Head of HR USA will work closely
with senior leadership as a strategic thought partner and bring
your expertise in all things People/HR to solve complex
organizational challenges using people-related solutions. In
addition to overseeing the daily operation of thelocal People
Department, the Head of Human Resources USA will also be
responsible for Recruiting, Employee Relations, Events, and other
employee-related tasks.
As Head of Human Resources USA, you will also:
--- Develop, and execute people strategies to complement or enhance
existing programs focused on onboarding, performance management,
employee relations, training, total rewards
--- Responsible for execution and management of the recruiting
process
--- Collaborate with all levels of management to understand
business needs and provide guidance and support.
--- Support individual and team effectiveness. Advise and consult
on organizational design, team effectiveness, and integration.
---Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal,
state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended
best practices; review and modify policies and practices to
maintain compliance.
---Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory
changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent
management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to
communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper
management.
---Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies,
processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the
organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
---Administer and oversee the administration of human resource
programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and
leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations;
performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and
morale; occupational health and safety; and training and
development.
---Lead competitive market research to establish pay practices and
pay bands in order to attract and retain employees
---Participates on committees and special projects and other ad hoc
projects as needed
Additional Responsibilities:
Directly supervises a team of four HR personnel.Maintains
supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's
policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications:

---Experience in compensation, training, organizational planning,
organizational development, and employee relations.
---Advanced knowledge in federal and state labor laws EEO, ADA,
FMLA, LOA, etc.
---Strong influence, persuasion and associate and executive
coaching skills
---Superior communication skills, especially presentation skills,
writing and listening
---Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced work
environment
