Braun Medical, visit Summary:The Human Resources Specialist provides specialized support to the Human Resources Department (HRD) staff in relation to day to day operations and established policies and procedures. This position regularly interfaces with employees across the organization to administer key HRD services, programs, activities and processes. Responsibilities: Essential DutiesPerforms a variety of administrative tasks in support of the human resources department.Assists in the creation and maintenance of human resources forms or documents. Answers employee questions about human resources policies or offerings. Schedules meetings, interviews, orientations, or training sessions. Create and compile standard reports for management review.Enter all personnel status changes including salary, department and shifts, job title, supervisors, new hires, terminations, etc. into the Qualtrex ticketing system.Complete and track I-9's.Facilitate new hire orientations to build a strong foundation for new employees and increase employee engagement.Prepare and maintain monthly reports including new hire, termination, employee lists, transfers/promotions, overtime, etc.Create and/or maintain monthly HR Metrics reports such as turnover, cost per hire, headcount, and various other ad hoc reports through use of ADP, Excel and other reporting systems.Assist employees with payroll related questions/issues and act as the Payroll liaison between Irvine and the Corporate Payroll Department.Prepare and maintain employee files assuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality.Assist with department projects as requested.The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time. Expertise: Knowledge & Skills Requires working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts. Follows established procedures and guidelines.Works under general supervision. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning & checking the work of other peers.May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors. QualificationsExpertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc Required:High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.04-06 years related experience required.Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.Regular and predictable on-site attendance While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
