Through our clearinghouse and secure web portals, we process nearly 200 million EDI transactions, consisting of more than 60 million dental claims annually.Human Resource Generalist Position Summary:We are looking for a rock star team member who understands the level of professionalism and confidentiality that is needed for HR and payroll processing, and who has the knowledge, experience, and initiative to join our team. In this unique opportunity, the HR Generalist will be given the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with the HR Director to further the goals of the organization.The Human Resources Generalist partners in processing the bi-weekly payroll, recruitment, employee engagement and appreciation, office management, and other day-to-day Human Resources projects to help further the (already awesome) culture at DentalXChange.*LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY -This is an on-site position*What You'll Do As Our Human Resource Generalist:Payroll:Working closely with the HR Director---

  • Assists in entering information accurately and timely into the payroll system (ADP)
  • Sends out weekly timecard reminders to non-exempt employees
  • Responds to payroll-related inquiries from management, employees, and external entities
  • Reviews timecards and audits information to ensure compliance with our policies/procedures
  • May enter payroll batches, process payroll, and finalize custom reports as needed
  • Submits payroll information/reports to HR Director, CFO, and Accounting Team as needed
  • Safeguards confidential information and ensures it is used appropriately
    Human Resources:Working closely with the HR Director---
    • Assists in the preparation of reports, including the annual EEO-1 report
    • Assists with audits and cleanup projects
    • Assists with the biennial sexual harassment training requirements
    • Assists with the employee offboarding process while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws
    • Maintains and updates employee files in ADP
    • Works closely with the HR Director in establishing and communicating policies, procedures, and benefits
      • Posts open positions in ADP's applicant tracking system and removes when filled
      • Depending on the position, may review resumes, conduct phone interviews, follow up with candidates, and schedule and/or participate in in-person interviews
      • Manages the relationships with Indeed and JobTarget for job sponsorship
      • Aids in job description updates for current or new positions
      • Prepares for new hires, including the assembly of new hire packets
      • Enters new hires into ADP and assigns harassment awareness training in ADP
        Office Management:
        • Manages vendors
        • Orders office supplies
        • Orders snacks/meals for staff
          Employee Engagement & Appreciation:
          • Participates in the planning of company events
          • Manages the employee birthday card process
            What You'll Bring to the Team:
            • Bachelor's degree
            • 2- 4 years of HR experience
            • Solid grasp of federal and California HR and payroll law
            • 1 year of experience processing payroll, preferably in ADP
            • Recruitment knowledge/experience preferred (especially with various ATS systems)
            • Proficiency in the MS Office suite
            • Ability to work independently, take initiative, be creative, and problem solve
            • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and help in all needed areas as requested
            • Ability to research and present suggestions
