About the Team:
VIZIO is looking for an energetic Senior Human Resources Coordinator (Operations Specialist) to join our HR Team at our Irvine, CA headquarters. This is an amazing opportunity to join a close-knit team of HR professionals with a continued focus on providing an enhanced employee experience in an ever-growing, fast-paced environment. - -The Senior HR Coordinator, working under general supervision, will provide a moderately complex level of day-to-day support for the HR Operations function including responsibilities related to Benefits, Compensation, Performance Management, Training, Payroll, and HRIS. The role is generalist in nature and depending on the inquiry or request may include the following duties: processing data transactions, data auditing, assisting with payroll, administering leaves of absence, coordinating termination activities, and supporting Compensation and Benefits activities as needed. The individual will use knowledge across these HR Operations disciplines to respond to employee questions and problem-solve, providing timely, thorough responses and resolutions. - The role will work closely with other areas of HR helping to drive timely and thorough resolution to employee inquiries and requests.

What You Will Do:
Answers/resolves problems related to routine HR questions concerning payroll, benefits, Workday, onboarding, etc. in our ticketing systemCoordinates maintenances of policy language and updates for HR Ops Library and Associate HandbookSupports approvals in WorkdayMaintains records of personnel-related data (personal information, status changes, etc.) in Workday and ensure all employment requirements are metRuns reports from Workday and other HR-related systemsProvides data audit and oversight activities supportLeads key HR activities such as new hire orientation and pre-day one onboarding, I-9 processing, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, etc.Supports the benefits lifecycle including open enrollment and complianceSupports the performance management and merit lifecycles as neededSupports communication distribution and ongoing maintenance of HR portal informationAssists in planning and coordinating of employee engagement activities including on-site events, reward distributions, etc.Identifies ways for HR to continuously improve the solutions offered to employees and managersKeeps up-to-date with the latest updates to Workday and supports enhancement to the Workday environment and leverages technology to improve ways of working throughout the businessSupports the HR Operations team with various administrative duties and helps to identify improvements to the employee onboarding and offboaring processesProvides excellent customer service and builds solid working relationships with employees, managers, leaders, and other key stakeholdersProvides support to prioritized HR Operations projects and processesMaintains records and manages IT ticket creation for Contingent Labor workforceCompletes and responds to requests for verification of employment and unemployment insurance claimsOther duties as assigned

About You:
You have 3-5 years of related work experienceYou have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or other related fieldHigh-level proficiency with Microsoft OfficeWorkday experience preferredExcellent oral and written communication skills and must be able to effectively and clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholdersStrong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple, competing tasks seamlessly and with excellent attention to detail and follow-throughWorks well under pressureAbility to identify solutions and solve problemsAbility to take initiative and work independentlyYou have experience as an administrative assistant, customer service representative, or HR at minimumYou are able to maintain confidentiality
