Job Description

In the context of our multi-year compensation roadmap, have a global mindset that supports the ongoing evolution of our plans; acts as a strategic advisor, ensuring our programs align with our business goals and support talent acquisition, retention, mobility and diversity initiatives.

This role can be based out of our office in Irvine, Milpitas, or San Jose CA.

  • Work in partnership with our Business Leaders, HRVP & HRBP's on pay decisions, ensuring alignment with WD's guiding principles
  • Understands workplace trends in our competitive environment and provide creative solutions to specific compensation-related challenges
  • Lead the annual compensation planning process including project plan and timeline, roles & responsibilities, budget proposal and preparation of executive summary of results for review and approval with senior leadership
  • Responsible for salary structure and incentive plan design and administration
  • Key member of cross functional team including HRIS & IT on global compensation program enhancements
  • Responsible for the development and communication of key programs to leaders and employees across all countries, ensuring change management strategies are in-place and executed
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to Global, Senior Compensation Analysts
  • Partner with legal on the assignment of FLSA classifications for new and current jobs; conducting FLSA audits as appropriate
    • A bachelor's degree is required.
    • Demonstrated experience in the ability to operate globally
    • 12+ years of directly related experience
    • Strong, proven project management experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines is required
    • Excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and limited resource environment
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. Managing multiple projects simultaneously
