Providence St. Joseph Health System has full time, part time and per diem position openings across our Southern California - High Desert region. We are seeking a Critical Care Unit/Intensive Care Unit (CCU/ICU) Registered Nurse (RNs). RNs are responsible for providing collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, implementing and evaluating care delivery based on predicted outcomes while anticipating potential responses, providing assessments, treatment and care throughout the hospital and outlying clinics. RNs will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the SJHS Core Values and the hospitals mission statement. RNs work independently under limited supervision directly reporting to the Unit/Department Supervisor, Director of Assistant Vice President.ST. We are currently a 460 bed, acute care hospital with over 3,000 caregivers and 1,000 physicians on staff.Our Medical ICU includes 26 beds. You'll care for critically ill patients including open-heart, surgical, kidney transplant, complex cardiology, and neuro.We provide resources including: Intensivist, Advance Practice Nurse, Critical Care Educator, Clinical Pharmacist, Respiratory Therapists, Rapid Response Team and Nurse Practitioners.MISSION HOSPITAL, MISSION VIEJO, CAAs a Level II trauma center Mission Hospital is uniquely prepared to provide skilled, compassionate care for the most critical patient needs. We seek highly motivated healthcare professionals with in-depth knowledge and strong clinical expertise.In the SICU you will be using advanced technology and nurse-driven protocols to care for critically injured multisystem trauma patients as well has those with critical neurological injury/stroke or subarachnoid hemorrhage.In the CICU we provide care for surgical cardiac patients, pulmonary arterial hypertension patients, and patients with sepsis, patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring and patients experiencing multi-system failure. In addition, we treat patients needing intensive monitoring for diagnostic or therapeutic interventions in conjunction with invasive monitoring and/or therapy with mechanical ventilation, IABP support, hypothermia after cardiac arrest, continuous renal replacement therapy, roto-prone therapy and vasoactive medications.ST. MARY MEDICAL CENTER, APPLE VALLEY, CAOur unit includes 20 ICU beds and 6 SDU beds.
