The Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) is responsible for providing clinical customer support by interfacing with sales and service personnel to effectively implement Nihon Kohden Patient Monitoring Systems into the customer sites. This is a full-time position. Additional responsibilities include support of Nihon Kohden America, Inc. (NKA) sales and marketing efforts through clinical presentations, product demonstrations and clinical evaluations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following, but other duties are assigned as necessary: * Implementing the Clinical Partnership Program in the United States, its territories, and in Canada. * Developing and delivering a customized training and support plan for Nihon Kohden Patient Monitoring Systems products at NKA customer accounts. * Leading implementation teams to complete the system project on time and to the customers satisfaction. * Providing ongoing customer support either in person or by telephone. * Making travel arrangements according to company policies and for completing and submitting required program documentation as directed. * Update product knowledge as product operations or features change. * Remaining clinically knowledgeable and competent and for maintaining licensure. * Manage time wisely and efficiently and to accomplish assignments in established time frame. While performing the duties of the job, the CAS is regularly required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or pull objects, tools or controls; reach with hands or arms; talk; hear; operate an automobile. The CAS must be able to regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job includes color vision. QUALIFICATIONS: Employees in this position may reside anywhere in the U.S. as long as they are near a major airport. * Minimum of five years' experience in critical care nursing. * Current RN license issued in the United States. * Minimum education - Associate Degree in Nursing required. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing is highly desirable. * Valid drivers license and a good driving record are required. * Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and presents a professional image with above-average customer service skills. * Ability to read, analyze and interpret equipment manuals, general business periodicals or professional journals. * Ability to write reports and business correspondence. * Effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers and other employees of the organization. * Willing to travel 70%-80% of the time.
