Experience Required Description: The Registered Nurse will work in
the Labor and Delivery department. This role requires experience in
Labor and Delivery and the ability to manage a variety of patient
conditions. Responsibilities include triaging obstetrical patients.
The nurse will utilize external fetal heart monitoring and maintain
central lines. Skills include managing insulin drips, circulating
for C-sections, and recovering post-op C-sections. The role
involves performing sterile vaginal exams and adhering to isolation
precautions. Experience handling conditions such as asthma, cardiac
diseases, and neurological disorders is essential. The nurse will
be involved in telemetry interpretation and drawing venous blood.
Knowledge of anticoagulation therapy and recovery procedures are
necessary. Assist with circumcision procedures and conduct car seat
education for new parents. The nurse will manage high-risk
antepartum patients and assist with vaginal deliveries.
Responsibilities include responding to adult and neonatal cardiac
arrests. The role requires familiarity with rapid response teams
and recognizing abnormal fetal heart patterns. Administration of
blood products and starting IVs are critical components of care.
The nurse will support breastfeeding through lactation support
initiatives. Wound assessment and patient education on
post-operative care will also be part of the duties. This position
