Hospitalist Medical Director opportunity in Oxnard, CA We re looking for a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to step into a leadership role where collaboration, flexibility, and community impact come together. Position Highlights: Provide clinical oversight for the team while building strong relationships with our hospital partner leadership. Manage an open ICU, but no procedures are required for this role. Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, discharges, and cross coverage depending on the shift. Help manage two hospitals- a 265 bed and a 23-bed acute rehabilitation facility, and an 82 acute care bed and a 99-bed extended care unit. Administrative Days are offered. 7 days on/7 days off block scheduling or flexible scheduling. 12-hour clinical shifts. Qualifications: Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine. Must have leadership experience in hospital medicine and at least 3 years of hospitalist experience.
