We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist (3rd Shift) to provide accurate and timely clinical laboratory testing at our San Juan Capistrano facility./n/nKey Responsibilities:/n• Independently perform moderate to highly complex clinical tests/n• Conduct reagent/media preparation and testing of new controls/n• Evaluate specimen acceptability and calculate results using manual or automated procedures/n• Enter and verify test results in the system; ensure timely turnaround/n• Respond to critical/unusual values and document actions taken/n• Perform quality control, calibrations, and instrument maintenance/n• Troubleshoot lab equipment and document performance checks/n• Participate in training and supervise unlicensed staff if applicable/n• Support quality improvement, safety, and infection control protocols/n• Take part in continuing education to maintain licensure/n/nRequirements:/n• BS in medical technology or life/physical sciences required/n• Current California CLS license required/n• 0–3 years of laboratory experience (offer rate based on experience)/n• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and lift/carry objects (1–50 lbs)/n• Must pass a color vision test if required for role/n• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong typing and automation skills preferred/n• Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to sit/stand for long periods/n/nThis is a contract-to-hire position with potential for permanent employment based on performance and experience.
