$2,400 per week About The Position Job Title: RN NICU (Neonatal
Intensive Care Unit) Location: San Diego, CA 92123 Candidates
within 50 miles of facility are not accepted Pay Rate: Up to
$2400/week Start Date: 07/21/2025 Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

facilities. Position Summary: Willing to float between units (PICU
& CVICU) and NICU satellite campuses (Rancho Springs, Palomar,
Scripps Encinitas, Scripps La Jolla, and Scripps Mercy) Patient
Ratios: Days: 1:1-2, Nights: 1:1-2, Weekends: 1:1-2 Must be able to
float to Pediatric ICU and Cardiothoracic ICU & Med Surg if hired
for main campus within their scope of practice as well as NICU at
other satellite locations. Travelers will not be assigned patients
over 2 years old Manager is looking for strong level 4 travelers
that have experience with Surgical NICU patients. 12 D/N
rotation/weekends/holidays and flexible with 12 hour variable
shifts - days/nights are required. Must work 2 out of the 3
holidays. Must have own transportation Experience in: Oscillator,
conventional ventilator, CPAP, Nasal Cannula specialty gases, PICC
lines, Broviacs, UAC UVC PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-Tubes.
Must be comfortable with line changes that have multiple drips, pre

1 trauma Key Responsibilities: Providing round-the-clock care to
premature and severely ill newborn infants. Caring for the basic
needs of infants; for example, feeding and changing diapers.
Performing medical procedures; for example, inserting intravenous
lines, performing tests, and administering medications. Assisting
the NICU physicians in medical procedures and treatments. Using and
adjusting specialized medical equipment. Formulating nursing plans
and evaluating the effectiveness of treatments. Comforting ill
newborns and anxious parents and family members. Offering support
to parents and family members and educating them on the at-home
care of their newborn. Required Qualifications: 2 years NICU level
4 experience Will consider strong Level 3 RN if they come from a
Level 3 NICU that performs surgeries on newborns BLS, Advanced NRP
Certification by AHA PALS preferred CA State RN License Must have a
permanent address at least 50 miles away from the facility
