Job Description:
A large health system is in need of a Medical Collections
Specialist for a cleanup project for aged accounts for one of their
hospitals. As the Medical Collector you will be looking at aged
accounts to determine the next course of action to collect on the
account. Must have at least 2+ years of experience doing
collections specifically for hospitals. Also must be well versed in
HMO, PPO, Medicare Government insurances including Managed
Care.
Requirements:
- Hospital Collections
- AR Follow-up
- HMO, PPO Medicare/Medi-Cal and Managed Care
- Knowledge of rebills, denials, appeals
