Job Description:

Primary Function (major Purpose/objective Of The Job)Responsible for directing the analysis, design, development and implementation of the enterprise-wide learning and development strategy for CU Direct product training operations. Responsible for leading a team to innovate, organize, develop, conduct, and execute internal and external product training programs. Directs a team to perform strategic planning and implementation of product training programs that support all of CU Directs software and solutions including but not limited to the Point of Sale, Fulfillment, Digital Partner Network and Data Services & Analytics PlatformsPrincipal Responsibilities/ObjectivesProduct Training Management & Analytics Establish and maintain a high-performance team of motivated and engaged training professionals utilizing effective training, performance management activities while leading to achieve established business results and performance metrics. Develop analytics and reporting to understand and measure the impact, satisfaction and effectiveness of product training programs. Demonstrate highly effective communication and balance multiple business demands, such as instructional integrity, budgetary requirements, resource limitations, and tight project schedules, while maintaining a positive, collaborative, solution-oriented attitude. Select and manage vendors, including technology partners such as training platform/administration providers and outsourcing partners to support content development and delivery. Develop training roadmap, to track and report on overall training program pipeline of all completed, current, and future (quarter when planned) projects status to the leadership team.Product Training Analysis & Planning Identify product learning needs and performance gaps for employees and clients, while ensuring training deliverables are aligned with CU Direct's vision, values, business strategies and product initiatives. Create, implement, review and revise product training programs policies and procedures, as needed. Collaborate with business leaders, SMEs, and managers globally and cross-functionally to identify training requirements, priorities, goals and objectives that are aligned with the business strategy.Training Development & Delivery Create high impact training by using multiple techniques to maximize employee and client participation, comprehension, and application of training deliverables, while integrating continuous innovation that consistently improves employees and client experiences. Monitor emerging trends, innovation and technologies and assess their value to the organization's training programs. Oversee development and management strategy of the Learning Management System (LMS) for clients and employees, including product learning tracks aligned by persona and audience types. Manage curriculum, content development, methodology of training, reporting and maintenance of LMS.Teamwork Work to foster and enhance collaboration and teamwork within the organization. Provide the highest quality experience to each other and our clients. Consistently promote and model the culture and values of CU Direct. Demonstrates the behaviors aligned with each value with clients and employees across the organization. Seeks out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives.EducationKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:BA or BS degree in a relevant field or commensurate experience required. Master's degree, preferred. Experience7 years of experience supervising an organizational development and/or training department. 7 years of experience overseeing the entire cycle of training and development programs in a corporate setting. Previous supervisory experience in a financial institution, and general knowledge of financial industry policies and operations, a plus. Specialized SkillsProven strategic planning experience establishing and achieving long-term training and education goals. Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire customer loyalty and adoption. Advanced experience with eLearning authoring tools, Camtasia and Articulate Storyline, and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to quickly grasp highly technical concepts and to effectively distill technical information to clearly communicate these technical concepts in both live presentation and written formats. Demonstrate high-level of effectiveness in leadership role that requires multi-tasking, management, and strong customer soft-skills with ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels within organization. Ability to lead collaborative discussions, identify problems, provide solutions, and breakdown complex concepts and processes into component parts to create and deliver effective training.Strong aptitude to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a changing business environment. Superior organizational skills, and ability to prioritize, initiate, manage and drive team to complete projects on time as required to meet departmental and overall company goals. Strong written and verbal communication, grammar, proofreading, and visual design skills. Ability to organize, prioritize work, meets deadlines and established goals. Proven experience building strong internal and external relationships. Practiced knowledge of using multimedia genres to create and develop training ools (videos, audio, etc.) Travel may be required.
