Job Description:

This is an exceptional opportunity to join an innovative and collaborative brand marketing team working on game-changing medical device products that save lives every day. As a Marketing Manager - Global Brand, you will lead all out-of-US (OUS) THV brand initiatives, using your branding and marketing expertise to support Edwards' international THV marketing initiatives. This position reports to the Director of Global Branding for Edwards Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) Business Unit.
Job Function:


  • Lead the brand development, strategy, and execution of innovative, differentiating and integrated international marketing programs and tactics for implanting and referring physician audiences from strategy through execution
  • Partner with global and regional product marketing and other colleagues to develop positioning, value proposition, and messaging platform for Edwards' innovative products, ensuring Edwards leadership and competitive differentiation
  • Understand our international markets, audiences, and competition; consistently evaluating brand strategy to ensure differentiated and meaningful market positioning and execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing partners to create, manage and drive robust marketing and product campaigns which support product launches and key initiatives
  • Strategic collaboration with regional congress management to oversee, develop and execute plans for key international conferences; lead congress branding, customer experience strategy and development; provide competitive brand reviews
  • Own and oversee creative agency partnerships to develop and execute marketing plans and tactics. Consistently provide strategic and creative guidance, closely collaborate with agency partners to ensure delivery of excellent marketing. Manage multiple agency priorities and approve expenditures within budget guidelines
  • Liaise directly with all THV partners - including global and regional product management, congress management, clinical affairs, legal and regulatory affairs - to prospectively ensure timely and accurate completion of projects
  • Provide regular updates to management and key stakeholders on program and project status
  • Direct international media creative and planning, including print, digital, social, and other new media vehicles
  • Scope and lead execution of relevant primary research to achieve objectives developed by cross-functional marketing team
  • Develop and champion corporate and THV brand campaigns outside of the US to ensure they are consistently and meaningfully represented by all internal stakeholders, across all customer touch points
  • Develop department operational procedures and processes to foster effective communications and deliverables
  • Day to day management, mentorship and development of brand team members

    Required Education & Skills:


    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Master's degree preferred
    • Minimum of 10 years medical device or pharmaceutical branding/marketing communications agency experience required
    • Demonstrated ability to execute complex new product launches/campaigns and to substantially contribute to existing product line brand strategy required
    • Successful management of brand teams and product promotion within a highly-regulated promotional environment required
    • Demonstrated passion for international marketing with associated savvy.
    • Demonstrated passion for innovative marketing required
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced cross functional regional environment
    • Ability to direct agencies and vendor partners required
    • Strong decision making and prioritization skills required
    • Ability to communicate through influence required
    • Ability to direct multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, often under time and situational pressures required
    • Ability to travel both domestic and international of 20-30" of the time required
