Position: Intake, Outreach, and Care Manager for the Office for Equity, Equal Opportunity, and Title IX (EEO-TIX)'s Academic TeamSupervisor: Deputy Coordinator for Intake, Outreach, and SupportOverview: The Intake, Outreach, and Care Manager reports directly to a Deputy Coordinator and is part of a dedicated team within the Office for Equity, Equal Opportunity, and Title IX (EEO-TIX) at the University of Southern California. This position supports the critical initial responses to all reports and ensures a consistent and timely case management process for all parties involved in either Formal or Alternative Resolution processes.In collaboration with the Deputy Coordinator for Intake, Outreach, and Support, this position will provide administrative and coordination support to assist with prompt, compassionate, and appropriate responses to all related reports to the EEO-TIX office, while supporting the University's mission to maintain an environment free from all forms of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the provision of prompt, compassionate, and appropriate responses to all academic-related reports to the Office for Equity, Equal Opportunity, and Title IX (EEO-TIX), including timely intake and initial assessment meetings.
  • Manages ongoing accommodations for students, faculty, and staff, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all related reports and responses.
  • Communicates and collaborates with various stakeholders throughout the university to coordinate the delivery of services and ensure needs are met.
  • Provides administrative support to initial assessment triage team meetings to respond to reports of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
  • Assists with training and education programs for university community members.
  • Promotes an environment that fosters inclusive relationships and creates unbiased opportunities for contributions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.The university reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.Characteristics:
    • Deep knowledge of civil rights law and policy that applies to higher education and employment, particularly Title IX.
    • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a high volume, fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse array of stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated understanding of the University of Southern California's mission and commitment to its core values.
    • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
    • Knowledge of best practices in higher education compliance regarding discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
    • Ability to act independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment.The annual base salary range for this position is $66,063.42 - $101,764.08. Experience working with domestic/dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and harassment issues. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and discretion.
