Brief Description:The Associate Director, Compliance & Ethics Data
Analysis and Operational Excellence reports to the VP, Chief
Compliance & Ethics Officer and is responsible for managing the
data analytics and system modernization efforts to improve the
effectiveness of Jazz's Compliance & Ethics program [referred to as
I-CARE (Integrity, Compliance, Accountability, Respect and
Ethics)]. This role develops uses high-level skill and attention to
detail to execute innovative processes and technologies to advance
the function's data analysis capabilities. The Data Analysis AD
will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable
insights related to compliance program and related business areas,
driving informed decision-making, and supporting the effectiveness
and efficiency of the Compliance & Ethics business function and
I-CARE ProgramEssential Functions
- Data Collection and Cleaning:
- Collect, validate, and clean data from multiple sources to
ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and automated data
extraction processes.
- Data Analysis:
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns,
and outliers.
- Utilize statistical techniques to analyze complex data sets and
draw meaningful conclusions.
- Work with Compliance & Ethics team stakeholders to develop key
questions and desired insights to be answered by the data
analysis.
- Data Visualization:
- Create clear and insightful data visualizations (charts,
graphs, reports) to communicate findings effectively.
- Present data-driven insights to stakeholders in a visually
appealing and understandable manner.
- Data Modeling:
- Build and maintain predictive and descriptive models to support
business objectives.
- Conduct hypothesis testing and statistical analysis to validate
model performance.
- Reporting and Dashboards:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for ongoing
monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for various
departments.
- Assist in HCP Spend data aggregation and reporting to various
country regulatory authorities and industry trade
associations.
- Collaboration and Project Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their
data needs and provide analytical support.
- Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to
optimize data processes.
- Act as liaison between Compliance & Ethics team and IS
department to ensure timely design & implementation of new systems
project
- Act as liaison between Compliance & Ethics team and other
functions (e.g. finance, HR) to incorporate Compliance data needs
and embed controls into systems owned by those functions.
- Data Quality Assurance & Documentation:
- Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to
ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Identify and rectify data quality issues as they arise.
- Document data analysis methodologies, assumptions, and results
for future reference.
- Maintain data dictionaries and documentation for data
sources.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive pharmaceutical industry
Information Services experience with healthcare compliance
experience preferred.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming
languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI,
Tableau,).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large and
complex datasets.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
- Effective communication skills to convey insights to
non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
environment.
- Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and data
pipeline development is a plus.
- Preferred experience with AWS technologies such as Redshift and
S3, and ETL experience in tools such as IICS (Informatica
Intelligent Cloud Services).
- Preferred experience in pharmaceutical industry and/or
compliance & ethics program support
- Ability to manage multiple projects to completion on-time and
with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong document management and organizational skills
- Highest level of ethics and personal
integrityRequired/Preferred Education and Licenses
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics,
Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree

equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees
with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For
this role, the full and complete base pay range is
$144,000-$216,000. Individual compensation paid within this range
will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills,
relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors.
The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned
with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the
established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy.
Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base
pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis. At
Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation
package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a
discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation
(depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the
Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as
well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long
Term Equity Incentive Plan. The successful candidate will also be
