$Multi-billion industry leader is currently conducting a search for Director of Logistics Operations. Candidate will be part of team responsible for improving operational performance within the warehouse, delivery and merchandising functions in a fast-paced distribution organization. This leader will support the regions market unit leadership teams focused on driving key supply chain initiatives and operational excellence across the enterprise. Responsible for providing subject matter expertise in the areas of safety & compliance, product supply, inventory control, warehousing, delivery operations and merchandising. Position will be based in the Orange County area of Southern California with a salary from $140k $190k + 30% bonus. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: --- The Director of Operations will direct and control the logistical and operational effectiveness of the warehouse, delivery and fleet operations. --- Assures systems are in place to create timely and accurate delivery of all products to maintain a high level of efficiency and customer satisfaction. --- Assess business conditions and evaluate emerging operational needs and opportunities. Identify operational efficiencies to meet these needs. --- Create, implement & execute standardized operating procedures across multiple locations. --- Ensure alignment of plans and execution of strategies across functional teams and multiple locations. --- Direct the adaption and execution of enterprise-wide initiatives. --- Develop & maintain operational scorecards to monitor progress and provide accountability for achieving incremental business results. --- Responsible for Capital Expenditure planning across the Market Unit. --- Responsible for compliance to budget and cost performance. --- Safety & Regulatory Compliance (OSHA/DOT). --- Warehouse management systems & inventory controls. --- Responsible for OSHA compliance and Audit procedures. Ensure that all procedures, practices and equipment are within guidelines set by OSHA and suppliers.
