Technical Product Manager

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $115,000.00 - $165.000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

Roles/Responsibilities
* Manages the delivery across multiple engineering (POD) teams to deliver the required software
* Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
* Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
* Ability to break down complex requirements into bite-sized, actionable user stories
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment, including strong communication and problem-solving abilities
* Perform risk management to minimize project risks
* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation


Required Skills

* Minimum 12-15 years of experience
* Understanding of Agile principles methodologies and events
* Familiarity and prior experience managing projects with Kafka and Elastic search
* Familiarity with Linux administration and Terraforms is nice to have.
* Liaise with product management to define the requirements. Should be able to create Epics and user stories.
* Have engineering mindset. Should have exposure to the best of engineering practices.
* Familiarity with cloud concepts (GCP)?
* Familiarity with DevOps concepts, mainly CI/CD, release automation ??
* Communication and negotiation skills
* Facilitation of daily stand-up meetings to track progress. Schedule and facilitate other agile ceremonies for planning, demos, and retrospectives.
* Help the Agile team manage their progress via transparent backlog and board overviews.
* Help solve impediments in an Agile team context with inputs from Business Owner or Product Owner.
* Drive Agile Teams, vendors, and clients to follow Agile way of working
* Help the Agile team manage their progress via transparent backlog and board overviews. Maintain relevant team metrics, create custom dashboards per the client needs.?
* Industry accredited Agile certifications like CSM, SAFe SA, CSPO, Cloud certifications etc.
