Regents Point in Irvine, CA, one of 10 HumanGood life plan communities listed as "Best Nursing Homes of " by U.S. News & World Report" is seeking a Director of Nursing. The Director of Nursing (DON) plans, directs organizes, and evaluates nursing services to meet the total needs of the residents, and ensures an efficient health facility operation in cooperation with other departments and in compliance with state and federal regulations. Additional responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Directing, overseeing, and evaluating all nursing personnel (RNs, LVN/LPNs, C.N.A.s, etc.)
• Establishing objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
• Organizing and coordinating admission, nursing, and patient care procedures
• Developing and enforcing policies for legal compliance and high-quality standards Annual Salary: $135,000 - $157,000 (Depending On Experience) $5,000 Sign-on Bonus To be successful in the role, you would have:
  • Current/prior experience as a DON or ADON
  • Skilled Nursing experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration is a plus
  • Valid RN license and CPR certification
  • In-depth knowledge of hospital procedures and KPI/KQIs of patient care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare best practices and legal regulations
  • Ability to lead and develop personnel
