If you want to start making a difference working in the health care industry, then apply to WGAT today!Compensation: $55,215 - $76,779 with a rich benefits package that includes profit-sharing.Job Description SummaryThis position reports to the Project Manager I and is responsible for supporting the coordination and completion of projects across various operational areas. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that project tracking systems are updated and supporting efforts to maintain project status with complete accuracy. They also distribute updates relevant to the team, project, or program for internal and external stakeholders, maintain accurate and complete files for projects and programs, and support efforts that ensure the integrity and completion of all projects. Additionally, they provide administrative project support as required.Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) to three (3) years of health insurance operations experience preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Project, experience with other Microsoft Office Suite products, and a moderate degree of comfort learning new technologies and systems.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • Proven ability to synthesize verbal conversations into writing.
  • High degree of detail-orientation and organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to take initiative, ask questions, prioritize, and multi-task.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals in all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to originate, analyze, structure, prepare, and present financial metrics and PowerPoint presentations for executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills, results-oriented, proactive and flexible.
  • Proven ability to manage a varied workload, be detail-oriented, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to quality and the motivation and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime if necessary.
  • Verifiable, clean DMV record and the ability to travel to various locations throughout the U.S. (mainly California and Arizona) up to 10% of the time.
  • Internet access provided by a cable or fiber provider with at least 40 MB download and 10 MB upload speeds.
  • Home router with wired Ethernet (wireless connections and hotspots are not permitted).
  • A designated room for your office or steps taken to protect company information (e.g., facing computer towards wall, etc.)
  • A functioning smoke detector, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit on site. Duties And ResponsibilitiesProject Support
    • Creates documentation, templates, reports, and analyzes data to improve operational efficiencies.
    • Maintain project schedules, including coordinating internal and external project team meetings.
    • Maintain department project documentation by using necessary methods and tools.
    • Participate in project teams to assist in developing, managing, and implementing company initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain project document systems and manage team documentation in accessible media, formats, and structures.
    • Assist with and/or conduct data collection, analysis, and interpretation for project implementation.
    • Track progress and review project tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
    • Ensure completion of action items from previous project meetings and follow up on outstanding items. Project Communication & Reporting
      • Establish a communication plan to ensure timely updates to stakeholders on the project's progress.
      • Produce and present status reports for management at stakeholder meetings.
      • Measures project performance and generate supporting reports.
      • Report schedule variances for each milestone and actively manage the scheduled tasks with internal and external stakeholders.
      • Provide regular project status reports to management and project team.
      • Organize and distribute project correspondence, reports, memos, etc.
      • Document meeting notes for the project team in writing and record important decisions, action items, ideas, and assignments.
      • Solicit clarification from meeting participants in real-time as needed.Other

        • Maintain an internet speed of at least 40 MB download and 10 MB upload and utilize a router with wired Ethernet.
        • Maintain a HIPAA compliant workstation and utilize appropriate security techniques to ensure HIPAA required protection of all confidential/protected client data.
        • Maintain and service safety equipment (e.g., smoke detector, fire extinguisher, first aid kit).
        • Maintain a clean DMV record and the ability to travel to locations throughout the U.S. (mainly California and Arizona) up to 10% of the time.
