Date: May 8, 2023Position: Jr. AccountantLocation: Irvine, CARequisition Number: 9006 Position SummaryWSH Management is currently seeking a Jr. Accountant to join our accounting team at our Corporate Office in Irvine near John Wayne Airport. This is a full time position, 40 hours per week.Job DutiesThe Jr Accountant will be responsible for the accounts payable for over 30 properties, prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, and assist with the month end close.

• Assist with the financial statements for assigned properties
• Reconcile monthly bank accounts and process payables
• Make bank deposits, mail checks, administrative support for accounting
• Process vendor inquiries
• Reviews rent roll and general ledgers with details for accuracyQualificationsWhile we are proud to offer on-the-job training for all positions, we prefer you to start with the following experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred)
  • 1+ years Accounting experience (bank reconciliations, journal entries)
  • 2+ years experience in Accounts Payable
  • Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, 10 key, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 including Word, Excel, Excel Pivot tables and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload

    • Base Pay Start Rate: $28.00 - $29.00 per hour (DOE).
