will be part of the Global Supply Chain Finance team, which is
responsible for managing Operations Finance. Specifically, you will
be part of the Global Inventory team, which is responsible for
managing and coordinating global inventory accounting and finance
activities. This is a great launching pad for future career
advancement at Edwards, as you will be working closely with both
Corporate Finance and Tax. You will also be working on a Global
scale, so you will get to see how all the inventory moves.Key
Responsibilities:
- Perform inventory and other account reconciliations and drive
process improvements by identifying root causes for variances. Work
with cross-functional business partners, including Corporate
Accounting and IT, to find solutions
- Perform month-end close activities, including the preparation
of journal entries and account reconciliations using JDE
- Responsible for compliance activities and audit requests (e.g.,
SOX and key internal controls)
- Perform profit in inventory reconciliation and analysis for the
US and act as a global resource. Ability to dig into the details to
understand and solve PII variances and drive process
improvements.
- Passion for continuous improvement and collaboration to help

areas of professional development and technical accounting
knowledge, as required by the role
- Business partner to global stakeholders across multiple
business units and functions, facilitating inventory-related
inquiries
- Develop project plans and global cost accounting activities
with accountability for successful completion within scope of
project deliverables
- Provide guidance and/or lead smaller project teams to execute
tactical projects and/or initiatives Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field is
required.
- A minimum of eight years of Accounting/Finance experience (or
six years of experience with a Masters)
- Experience with a large ERP system (e.g. JDE, SAP or Oracle)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cost Accounting
- Global experience working with products/ inventory
- Financial planning and analysis experience
- MBA or CPA
- Excel and PowerPoint experienceAdditional Expectations:
- Passion for improving the lives of patients.
- Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel,
database tools (e.g., QlikView, HFM, OneStream), financial systems,
and ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP)
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
- Proven successful project management skills
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic
protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate
control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as
well as to the protection of environment and prevention of
pollution under their span of influence/control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
including negotiating and relationship management with ability to
drive achievement of objectives
- Extensive knowledge of responsibility area while contributing
to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
- Extensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
- Extensive understanding of related aspects of financial
processes and/or systems
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational
levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of
management in the organization
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced
environment
- Ability to lead projects within a specific area interfacing
with project managers and finance team
- Ability to provide financial leadership to outsourcing partners

$131000 (highly experienced).The pay for the successful candidate
