This leader will influence the global talent strategy and overall company culture through the delivery of a world-class global HR operating model. - S/he will be responsible for managing and developing a highly collaborative human resources team that interfaces directly with the functional global business leaders through a holistic (and matrix) service delivery model. -The VP of HR Business Partners will work collaboratively across the People & Culture organization, including, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, HR Operations, Total Rewards, Social Impact, Inclusion & Diversity and other HR functions to develop integrated and best-in-class HR capabilities in areas of: - organizational development, M&A, workforce planning and talent attraction, performance management, leadership development, employee engagement & retention, compensation and benefits, championing our culture of inclusion and diversity.Of critical importance will be ensuring that human resources practices and policies align with the growth strategy of Alteryx enabling future scale and expansion. - Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive leadership to the Regional HR Business Partners and partner with peer members of the People & Culture Leadership Team supporting all the company's employees around the world. The VP, of HR Business Partners must operate with a global mindset and be an experienced "leader of regional leaders".
  • Create deep and influential relationships with the executives across the organization, understanding their strategies, priorities, and goals. Bring forward business knowledge to shape HR strategy and priorities.
  • Build trusted and collaborative relationships with key stakeholder and partner organizations including, Finance, Legal, IT and Security & Facilities.
  • Operate as a highly credible and objective leader who can facilitate complex problem solving with multiple audiences, applying a high level of EQ and relevant subject matter expertise; capable of diffusing conflict during crisis situations and matters of significance which may carry reputational or brand risk.
  • Effectively manage HRBP team members, directing their work and providing coaching and development to build a high-performing, collaborative team.
  • Continually assess culture and employee engagement. Identify relevant solutions that address systemic issues and improve engagement and retention.
  • In partnership with functional People & Culture teams, manage and execute HR processes including, but not limited to year-end compensation, talent management, performance management, talent acquisition, employee relations, learning & development, change management, and employee engagement.
  • Strategically partner with Business Leaders/Executives on various people-focused initiatives to further organizational development, talent development, career progression opportunities, and collaboration between sub-departments.
  • Participate and drive programming for the Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
  • Provide cross-organization information and perspective to business leaders (e.g., share and transplant best practices from the rest of the business) and serve as the connection between business units.
  • Influence delivery and framework for people data, analytics and insights. - Create holistic approach to evaluating organizational health through ongoing monitoring and diagnosis of people trends.
  • Provide coaching to executive leaders, enhancing management and leadership abilities, relationships among teams/individuals, interpersonal communications and performance management.
  • Partner with the Compensation team and business leadership to develop and deploy compensation plans that are fair, competitive, supportive of organizational strategies and compliant with company direction, local laws, pay equity or other statutory requirements.
  • Implement succession planning and talent management initiatives to develop career paths for employees that map to the firm's strategy.
  • Provide leadership for M&A initiatives - including strategy, org design, and integration.Qualifications:Qualifications/Skills/Experience -We are looking for 10 - 15+ years of Human Resources including experience with a history of leading HR Business Partners in a global public company setting or hyper-growth company environment (i.e., needs to be experienced in both large and complex organizations and small start-up like environments)
    • Exceptional influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills. Proven track record of raising leadership awareness and cultivating engagement and accountability across multiple levels within the company -- executives through employees.
    • Breadth of experience across all facets of HR; knowledge and expertise in organizational design, change management, data management, workforce planning, M&A, HR team development, talent management, executive coaching, leadership development, performance management, employee engagement, workforce planning, HR systems, compensation & benefits, and building a culture of belonging and diversity.
    • Expertise in the design and implementation of HR initiatives to support a scaling and growing global business
    • Executive presence with a positive and dynamic management style, combined with emotional maturity (EQ) to effectively drive change and align stakeholders
    • Establishes credibility and builds trust and alignment across teams while navigating complex organizational challenges
    • Ability to interface with Senior Leadership team effectively; comfortable with broad and frank discussions; ability to coach and mentor across the organization.
    • Excellent writing and presentation skills
    • Business and executive acumen, knowledge, professionalism; understands how a business operates, able to develop and articulate the value proposition of a new strategy, process, or program.
    • Excellent strategic planning and operational deployment skills, the ability to integrate and align strategy, manage stakeholders and implement programs/activities across functions, processes, and teams. Able to translate vision and strategy into clear actionable goals.
    • Strong growth and global mindset- ability to think global, execute local
    • Analytical Horsepower - a fast learner and decisive leader with sound judgment, and excellent problem solving /critical thinking skills. Intellectually curious and data-driven.
    • Influential storytelling capabilities to elevate insights into decision-making.
    • Sense of Urgency - possess a collaborative, yet relentless approach to process improvement and team managementEducation
      • Bachelor's Degree required; Human Resources is a plus
