The manager of HCI Sales Development is responsible for ensuring
the efficiency and effectiveness of HCI's sales by networking with
inter office departments, field employees and spearheading key
initiatives and focus areas to support HCI growth. This position
will support HCI Field Sales and National Training / Development
organization by creating, evaluating, and optimizing sales
efficiencies and training material. In addition will support the
training department by conducting training sessions with the field.
Other responsibilities include collecting and evaluating sales data
to - maximize sales productivity and supporting future growth
through available tools. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales Support (Field & Dealer)
- Assist in the development of sales initiatives planning and
coordinate implementation
- Assist in the coordination of sales event planning
(region/national meetings)
- Assist in the coordination and planning of training events
(Field, Instore, and HPP University)
- Support field presentations (Monthly conference call,
performance review, etc.)
- Develop, implement, and maintain sales tools to increase sales
effectiveness to achieve target
- Support ad-hoc requests from field or Sales Management
- Sales Operations & Excellence
- Assist in training curriculum and development
- Support training education courses
- Conduct training sessions with new hires and active field
members
- Assist with field initiatives and problem solving for key focus
areas
- Responsible for coordination and communication of key
identified initiatives
- Sales Process Innovation & Management
- Manage HCI Field Pipeline & Dealer Acquisition process for HPP,
GPP, and PP brands
- Evaluate and optimize HCI Sales Operations processes
- Create, Evaluate, and Optimize field tools to support
growth
- Evaluate & Support month end process
- Perform all other duties as assigned Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent group presentation skills, ability to think on your
feet
- Ability to evaluate business needs and develop plan for
maximizing sales opportunities
- Ability to operate with minimal supervision; self-starter
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well
with others
- Innovative thinker with ability to make improvements to process
& getting things done
- Experience with Access, Excel (Advanced), Word, and Power Point
(Advanced)
- Experience with SalesForce.com reporting tool
- Ability to organize information, problem solve, and create
strategic recommendation Qualifications
- Five or more years relevant work experience in Sales, Marketing
or Finance.
- Automotive captive, banking or consulting environment;
commercial lending experience preferred
- Business Administration experience preferred
- Process Innovation, experience preferred
- BA/BS in Sales, Marketing, Finance or related field Physical
