Job Description:
Supernal is at the forefront of creating emerging mobility
solutions that will foster the development of human-centered
cities. We are designing a completely new electric vertical
take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft tailored to the mobility
needs of future cities. This allows passengers a seamless
intermodal journey that safely transports them to their final

people's ability to move - whether for work or play. What we do:
Reporting to the Chief Safety Officer, the EHS Manager is
responsible for the development, maintenance, and oversight of
Supernal's Environment Health and Safety programs. The EHS Manager
communicates with all Company personnel to promote occupational
safety initiatives. In addition, they work closely with the
Facilities and Test & Evaluation teams to ensure the offices, labs,
and testing sites provide the safest work environment and that
Supernal remains in compliance with all applicable regulations as
the local, state, and federal levels. What you can do:
- Develop and manage Supernal's EHS procedures including all
Environmental, Health and Safety requirements, as they pertain to
OSHA, EPA, CAL-OSHA, City, County, and State
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other safety, health, and
environmental laws, regulations, reporting requirements, and
standards
- Identify EHS hazards in systems, equipment, products,
facilities, and/or operations and develop mitigations to manage
associated risks
- Provide EHS input to the development of facilities to be
constructed for the testing and operation of Supernal aircraft
systems
- Ensure proper management of all hazardous waste materials
- Conduct onsite inspections of Supernal facilities
- Investigate, report, and effectively communicate critical EHS
issues
- Interface with regulatory agencies on compliance issues
- Develop and deliver safety training and safety promotion
materials
- Other duties as assigned What you can contribute:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental
Sciences, or a related field
- A minimum of eight (8) years of EHS experience (an equivalent
combination of education and experience may be considered)
- Demonstrated experience evaluating EHS hazards and controlling
associated risks
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations including OSHA and EPA
- Experience in EHS management systems such as ISO 14001/ISO
45000
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have the ability to independently prioritize and
accomplish work within time constraints
- Self-motivated and forward-thinking personality
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and EHS software applications
