Make an Impact
As a Technical Product Manager, you will work on our award-winning
learning platform, ALEKS (www.aleks.com). Your mission will be to
collaborate with development teams and business unit partners to
discover, prioritize, and deliver viable solutions that will
delight our customers and improve learning outcomes. In particular,
we're looking for candidates who have prior experience building
educational technology products for Grades K-5.
This role is US remote eligible.
What You'll Do
- Work with business unit partners, Implementation, Customer
Support, and, of course, customers, to uncover and understand
customers' problems and needs
- Work with UX and Engineering to find and design solutions
- Work with User Research to test hypotheses and
validate/invalidate proposed solutions
- Work with Engineering and QA to plan, build, and test your
product
- Work with Content Development to successfully integrate and
release content into the ALEKS platform
- Work with Product Marketing to position and communicate on your
product
- Work with Technical Writing and Training to create release
documentation for new products and train internal teams on
them
- Be a mentor and leader for your team
- Set the product plan and priorities for your team and own the
delivery
- Manage up and manage across teams What We Value/What You'll
Need
- Prior success defining and launching products and features
- Passion for product, tech, business, and user experience
- Leadership skills: the ability to influence and inspire your
team
- Technical prowess: you don't need to code, but you shouldn't be
afraid of diving into technical issues and then be able to explain
technical concepts in non-technical terms to business partners and
customers
- Attention to detail, ability to analyze complex systems, and
expertise at managing multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities
and skill sets
- Ability to build a product plan and explain the "why" to your
team, peers, and stakeholders
- Experience articulating objectives and measuring your success
The average base salary range for this position is around $115,000
-$140,000 annually, however, base salary pay offered may vary
depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An
annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation
package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other
benefits depending on the position offered. This information is
provided per the New York City Pay Transparency Bill and the
Colorado Equal Pay Act.
