This position will develop new products and implement global product marketing strategies leading to new and exciting product launches focused on developing unique specialty-focused solutions to support interventional cardiologists. This role will involve collaborating with the product marketing leadership for upstream projects as well as associated activities to support key product franchises within our portfolio. These key activities include:

  • Develop marketing and strategic input for the interventional portfolio
  • Build business case for future product portfolio and new market opportunities.
  • Fuel innovation - identify gaps, unmet clinical needs, recommend new products, new markets, and strategies
  • Collaborate and align with marketing team and cross-functional team members to ensure future development plans will deliver overall revenue and profit objectives. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Collaborate with cross-geographic and cross-functional team(s) for new product development
    • Strategic investment planning
    • Develop Peer-to-Peer exchange environments through Medical Advisory Boards.
    • Understand the market trends, size and competitive landscape
    • Generate new and impactful claims to drive growth in competitive markets
    • Become subject matter expert of cardiology and interventional radiology procedures as well as key decision makers, clinical needs and market opportunities
    • Collaborate and interface with Key Relationships while leveraging best practices to set Franchises up for successful product launches.
    • Be the advocate for international market development at the business unit level
    • Maintain and develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and leverage relationship with KOLs for regional voice of customer (VOC) and new idea generation. - Lead and implement comprehensive market research and generate compelling market insights based on research, data, and feedback.
      • Develop and expand market models
      • Identify unmet clinical needs
      • Explore, identify, and recommend new products, markets, and strategies
      • Develop action plans for product concept-to-commercialization
      • Partner with Business Development/Mergers and Acquisitions teams to implement strategies as requested
      • Organize and conduct new product presentations and clinical evaluations with customers
      • Define, address and overcome new product related issues, including defining product specifications, operational factors, human factors, customer needs, regulatory and distribution hurdles, timelines, forecasts, value proposition and entry/ exit strategies
      • Perform all activities in compliance with the Teleflex Quality System.
      • Perform duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations.
      • Perform other duties as assigned by Management Key Relationships / Interfaces - Vice President of Global Marketing, Directors of Global Marketing, Global Marketing Managers, and Global Product Managers - Marketing Communications - Training and Education - Sales - Research & Development - Finance - QA/RA Department - Clinical & Medical Affairs - Legal - External suppliers - Clinicians - Project Management Office Minimum Qualifications
        • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
        • 5+ years of successful related business experience
        • 2-3 year's prior product management experience including research and market analysis
        • Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment from concept through commercialization
        • Ability to lead by influence
        • Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills
        • Strong verbal and group presentation skills with solid interpersonal skills
        • Analytical skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills, and organizational skills
        • Self-starter with high energy level
        • Results oriented with ability to drive projects to completion
        • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft office suite
        • High attention to detail
        • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
        • Solid business acumen
        • Understanding of medical devices, their use in environments, and with audiences
        • Understanding of overall healthcare environment/landscape
        • Ability to make timely, strategic decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
        • Experience with successful product and brand launches
        • Comfortable in clinical environments Preferred Qualifications
          • Medical Device Experience
          • Marketing, Business, Biology, or Engineering Degree
          • Exposure to Interventional Cardiology
          • Experience with Agile Quality System
            TRAVEL REQUIRED: up to 30%
