The Chief Growth Officer reports to the President of TriMark USA.

Position Summary

Reporting to the President of TriMark USA, the Chief Growth Officer will identify, plan, and execute on TriMark's growth Strategy, driving business transformation through market optimization, operational alignment, and new business opportunities.

This position will generate value through his/her ability to drive towards the Company's ambitions growth goals, weaving together current functionality to establish a coordinated One TriMark effort in delivering on our Business Plan.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Setting Strategy

  • Qualified candidate will be externally focused, with a keen eye on trends and potential disruption, helping the company place "smart bets"
  • Working with the Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, the Chief Growth Officer will influence the company's where-to-play choices. Accountabilities will include, but are not limited to, the following metrics: global sales, market share, customer feedback and performance and sustainability.
  • Building the company's brand equities by helping to maintain and build current and new relationships or pursuance of new opportunities
  • Ability to create and articulate an inspiring vision for the enterprise
  • The inclination to seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and align others with the organization's overall strategy
  • The ability to effectively balance the desire and need for broad change with an understanding of how much change the organization is capable of handling, creating realistic goals and implementation plans that are achievable and successful

    Executing for Results
    • In partnership with the Regional EVP's, will help accelerate the growth agenda for the Company, ensuring delivery of sales and profit targets
    • Run and develop creation of Chief Growth Officer department which will consist of Strategic Account Executives (Hunters) that will aggressively pursue new business opportunities while working with the regions to execute.
    • Ability to close significant deals and get significant deals over the finish line in line with sales and profit targets.
    • Ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, adapting nimbly and leading others through complex situations
    • Proven track record of delivering profitable growth
    • Smart risk-taker who seeks data and input from others to foresee possible threats or unintended circumstances from decisions made

      • Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively

        Competencies
        • Trusted Advisor. Builds close working relationship with CEO and peers (i.e., lead operating role and CFO, CHRO, GC) that fosters integrated execution of the growth strategy.
        • Culture Influencer. Builds credibility and trust across the organization to influence and drive change by challenging conventional thinking, while increasing cross functional coordination to reduce redundancy.
        • Rainmaker - Ability to make deals and develop quick relationships with top leaders of current or potential customers or industry leaders.
        • Thought Leader. Elevate the conversation about TriMark's values and aspirations by breaking down functional barriers and building collaborative alignment and a strategic vision that strengthens and amplifies the brand.
        • Brand Strategy. In partnership with the Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, develop brand portfolio architecture, vision and growth strategy, business models for product development, product optimization, and business implications from consumer insights.
        • Customer Strategy & Sales Generation. Guides Sales team on customer strategies and implementing strategic plans to grow market share in key channels while maximizing and expanding opportunities in new and existing markets.
        • International Growth & Expansion (when appropriate). Explore strong, profitable growth strategies in order to accelerate growth in key geographies and businesses and ensure stakeholder alignment with peers and the Board of Directors.
        • Leadership & Capability Builder. Inspires, coaches, and develops individual and team capabilities by championing individual strengths and team collaboration, aligning teams around strategies and decisions, and empowering leaders to elevate and inspire their teams, solve problems, and navigate conflict all while having fun.
        • Technology Savvy - ability to leverage tools for decision making, information gathering and team communication.

          Qualifications & Experience
          • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
          • 10+ years business-business growth-oriented sales experience
          • 10+ years leading national/regional sales teams
          • 10+ years sales experience in foodservice/hospitality management and/or foodservice sales preferred
          • Ability to successfully pass a background check
