Specialist partners with Private Bankers and Private Wealth
Advisors to facilitate the timely delivery of complex credit
solutions to qualified clients, acting as a liaison between the
relationship managers, underwriters, and clients from an
opportunity s inception (structuring, risk assessment, etc.)
through documentation and funding. The role is key to balancing
asset growth objectives with credit quality standards, and
maximizing the efficiency of custom credit underwriting processes.
Reports to the Senior Credit Manager - Affluent Lending.Major
Responsibilities:75% - FACILITATE THE DELIVERY OF CUSTOM CREDIT TO
QUALIFIED PRIVATE BANKING AND WEALTH CLIENTSWorks with
approximately 20 - 30 Private Bankers and Private Wealth Advisors
in an assigned territory to develop creative, innovative solutions
to new financings, restructurings and renewals that meet the Bank s
established risk/return parameters with a strong focus on the
consistency and quality of the product offering and product
delivery.Working relationship includes joint calls on Private
Banking and Private Wealth clients, their CPAs and/or business
managers with the relationship managers as needed to obtain
financial and other information, discuss structural alternatives,
prepare and/or review loan summaries and underwriting packages,
liaise with underwriters during the credit approval process, and
negotiate terms/documentation to effectively meet the client s
expectations and borrowing needs.25% - RISK MANAGEMENTFocus on the
Bank s soundness by: proactively addressing risk (including credit,
Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering, consumer compliance and
fair lending)Balancing the pursuit of earnings growth and financial
performance with disciplined risk managementHaving a demonstrated
knowledge of and sensitivity to the current regulatory
environmentManaging the control environment to meet audit standards
and avoid lossesEnsuring safekeeping of bank and customer assets;
actively supporting and ensuring data accuracy and integrity; and
effectively managing and proactively addressing risk associated
with changes in processes and procedures.This position may be
subject to SAFE Act Registration Requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE
Act requirements, all applicants for employment who will be engaged
in residential loan mortgage originations (as defined by the SAFE
Act) must register with the federal registry system and maintain a
status in good standing under the SAFE Act requirements. If at any
time the Bank determines that your position requires SAFE Act
registration, you will be required to register and to submit to the
required SAFE Act background check and registration process.
Failure to register successfully or to maintain a status in good
standing under the SAFE Act will affect your eligibility for

termination.Requirements:Minimum of a BA, BS or equivalent work
experienceDemonstrated professional competency and excellent credit
skills with 10+ years lending experience in affluent segment and a
minimum of two to four years of commercial and/or consumer lending
experienceProficient knowledge of computer applications for
business purposes.Robust understanding of complex, custom credit
solutions to meet both the basic and more sophisticated needs of
affluent clientsDemonstrated experience with broad understanding of
personal and commercial financial statements and consumer or
commercial lending, inclusive of related policies and procedures;
Conversational knowledge of investments, trust and planning
products and services.Individual must be self-motivated, an
independent thinker, and able to advise on numerous credit
transactions simultaneouslyStrong sales and service
orientationUnderstand attitudes and behaviors of wealthy people and
capable of facilitating service at that levelStrong interpersonal
and relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to
effectively and professionally interact with both sales and credit
partners, as well as clients of varying levels of business and
