business, and in this role you will lead the team that makes vital
decisions about all aspects of our data. While some companies
simply position data governance for compliance and documentation,
this role is situated to drive tangible growth across the business.

role for you.The Director, Data Governance and Stewardship is
responsible for the overall data stewardship, governance framework,
and data asset differentiation programs at CoreLogic. This senior
leader directs a team of data stewards and governance professionals
and reports to the Executive of Enterprise Data Management.This
leader will be responsible for developing the strategy, processes
and roadmap to continually elevate data quality, integrity,
permissible use and accuracy to enable business outcomes. Moreover,
they will partner with executive-level business stakeholders to
understand their key objectives, identify where current or future
data assets and governance can drive revenue growth and market
differentiation, and implement needed policies, standards and
metrics. Additionally, this leader will:
- Visioncast strategic projects that involve complex, matrixed
teams and oversee the gathering of analyses into a timely,
comprehensive format. This includes working across business
stakeholders to identify key metadata and content subject matter
experts who are the stewards across multiple business lines and
functions.
- Lead and engage team of content experts and enterprise data
stewards who have oversight for data quality, industry research,
content optimization and permissible use resulting in accessible,
transparent, and compliant data sets to drive sustained value.
- Leverage data stewards' expertise to partner with business
segments strategy of revenue growth through strategic data
partnerships that further increase the differentiation of CoreLogic
data
- Develop and maintain standards for managing data as a strategic
asset for data sources, MDM/Trusted data models and big data
platforms while ensuring integrity & permissible use across the
supply chain & fulfillment. Partner with analytics teams to ensure
clear roles and responsibilities from data exploration to
commercialization (model reviews). Maintain oversight for data
certification and audits.
- Drive increased awareness and value from our diverse data
portfolio/brand value. Illuminate data governance business impact
through an understanding that data curation and quality are
critical to continued business growth.
- Accountable for the adoption and continued maturity of the
Collibra Data Governance Platform and business process
workflows.
- Perform scheduled audits and metrics on the effectiveness of a
data governance program. Work across the value chain and with
regulatory/compliance on developing programs to facilitate common
approaches to new regulatory requirements, permissible use, access
and policy enforcement.
- Manage data governance and quality presentations, metrics,
dashboards, councils and overall progress at the strategic
level.Job Qualifications
- A college degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a
related discipline OR equivalent experience. Experience must
include 8 or more years of data management, data governance, data
architecture, analytics and/or business reporting experience.
- Experience in developing tools in Big Data and traditional DW
environments in support of Data Governance and master data
management technologies (preferably Collibra, Informatica, Oracle
or top solutions providers)
- Experience in driving transformational projects and the way in
which our stakeholders can utilize its enterprise data.
- A passion for people leadership and organizational skills. Must
be flexible and willing to work additional hours as necessary to
complete work during critical deadlines and manage multiple
projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical skills. Must be able to not only extract
and manipulate data but understand what the data represents; to
review information critically and ensure that it is accurate and
reasonable within the context that it is presented
- Interpersonal skills that demonstrate the ability to build
effective relationships, influence and partner with internal and
external stakeholders. Ability to scale from executive level to
hands on operators to understand challenges and develop
