Corporate Director of Food & Beverage

Due to the growth of Pacific Hospitality Group LLC, we are seeking a dynamic, proven Corporate Director of Food and Beverage based in Orange County to lead, direct or organize a portfolio of full service 4 diamond resorts and 3 diamond properties with developing concepts and working with the onsite management teams to improve both quality and service.

The successful candidate will report directly to the VP of Food & Beverage of PHG and be responsible for assisting with reconcepting and modernizing F&B throughout the company as well as spearheading the development in service quality, innovation, sales and profitability. The Corporate Director will be held accountable for proposing solutions, driving fresh ideas and design concepts, executing strategic plans, menu development, and improving the overall operation of all areas within Food and Beverage to include restaurants, lounges, bars, and banquets facilities. Individual must have a great focus on P&L financials (especially beverage and labor costs), budgeting, and forecasting will also be required.

Additional responsibilities include:


-Develop and leverage internal and external partnerships to maximize achievement of business goals
-Hold management and team members accountable for highest level service standards and results
-Assists with budget process and capital planning including development and performance
-Monitors and ensures development of realistic and accurate forecasts of each property
-Manages overall financial performance by analyzing and reconciling financial reports, determining trends and areas of opportunities, advising others on cost control methods and budgetary trends
-Develops and implements business growth and profitability to deliver market share by management financial performance, competitive strategy, enhancing the brand, and leveraging relationships
-Ensures acquisition and development of competitive talent and promoting opportunities for attracting and retaining high performing talent
-Strengthen unique service culture to continue to attract and develop outstanding talent
-Help to cultivate and create an environment where team members respect and adhere to company standards and values
-Work hand in hand with corporate support center functions

The ideal candidate will have:

-10 years of F&B management experience with minimum of 3 years running multiple concepts or outlets
-Beverage program development including costing, pricing, vendor negotiations, and staff training
-Bachelors Degree
-Strong culinary knowledge with relevant fine dining and catering experience
-Strategic planner and ability to lead change
-Ability to travel
-Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
-Creative, innovative, resourceful, and perseverant and keeps up to date on new trends
-Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office
-Strong leadership and communication skills - great at developing high performance teams
-Ability to assure optimum performance and continual improvement in all areas of Food and Beverage
